Pakistan (190/9) exorcise the ghosts of their 2024 heartbreak by defeating USA (158/8) by 32 runs in T20 World Cup 2026

125 off cutter bowlers are practically overflowing in any random Ranji side.

He is intelligent but will be beaten to pulp once batsman do some homework and learn to predict him.

I think leagues around the world should have 1 slot for associate player in squad, that will improve cricket in those nations more than ICC is doing currently.

This guy should be given a shot, even if he fails he looks quite good so far.

So, they said that it is a batting track. It appears to me that slower balls are hard to put away. The wicket at least on TV looks dry. Pak spinners should restrict US for less than 160 ideally.

Let's see how Shaheen bowls - bowler with the least IQ in Pak team. Saim and Usman should cause the most trouble to US batters.

This game is done.

US may have one guy play a blinder but they don’t have the team stamina to run down this total.

This Saurabh Tetrapack is one overrated bowler. If he comes across a Tim David, David Miller, Hardik Pandya or a Rovman Powel. He'll get annihilated.
Not sure anyone rated him ever lol After u19 world cup he couldn't find a spot regularly in India made a decision to study in USA and work there. He is a part time cricketer. He and SKy were team mates back in the early 2010s.

I was listening to this podcast where they said this. These associate teams stay in the game for 16 overs and they lose it consistently. It is true. They consistently mess up in the last 5 overs either with batting or bowling.

So Pakistan failed to score 190 in 2021, 2022 , 2024 T20 WCs . Ironically all those editions had Babar rizwan as openers 🤣🤣🤣

Which podcast? I've noticed this too but wanna hear a more statistics analysis. They seem to be in the game then suddenly completely out of it.

I have no data but my instinct says that the better associates these days look competitive for most of the time in the 20:20 game. Their batting and fielding in particular. They can’t delay the delivery most times and that’s the big gap with the better teams

When they chsae they shold try to win in 19 overs. They should never think of 20 overs. That is where they mess up

Imo it’s democratisation of training resources and methods, along with proper nutrition and training.

Plus you have talented emigrants who’ve competed at high standards in their original countries.
