I disagree with misbah having a low cricketing iq because this gives his fans the excuse of saying oh misbah is human he made mistakes, please forgive him.Welcome to PP bro. I look forward to reading your posts.
Only thing I'll say is @mominsaigol isn't a Misbah fan. He's very much the opposite and recognises all the harm he's done to Pakistan cricket.
Selfish?Salman agha another selfish batter
His tactics were fine. He was gun at field settings and chasing lower totals. He was excellent in that regard.
Read what I said. His issue was he didn't give a kahoot about odi and t20 team. He was interested in his buddies playing and just didn't care.
He wanted the odi and t20 team to fail with a passion because he wanted Pakistan to just he a top tier test playing nation.
He doesn't care about odi and t20 cricket. As I said he's the definition of corruption. He's basically babar's doati yaari but 100x worse.
I hope you now see what I was on about.Salman agha another selfish batter
Babar was poor today too, shall we drop him too. And make sarfaraz the captain with ifti at number 4Yeah very decent we saw that today
I forgot about ajmal and hafeez. My bad.His tactics worked when he had Ajmal and Hafeez chucking for him (in all formats) but when ICC had clamped on dodgy bowling actions, he had no plan b even in test cricket. A prominent example being when Pakistan toured Australia in 2016.
The Aussie commie box were literally mocking his tactics and field placings. Ian Chappell humiliated him with his assessment of him.
The reason why Misbah was miserable in white ball cricket is because he was behind the times and rigid in his thinking. This is why I say if he was Pakistan's 2017 CT captain, there's no way in the world he would've approved Fakhar to be opening the batting, who at the time was new to Pakistan cricket. He didn't want the game to be played that way. Nor would he've trusted Hasan Ali because he was generally very reluctant to back young, inexperienced players.
No hard feelings bro .I hope you now see what I was on about.
This kid that you proclaimed is smarter then his age suggests![]()
Problems which costed Pak WC SF spot:
1. Shaheen not picking early wickets
2. Spinner not picking any wicket during middle overs
Problems Pakistani awam think costed them SF place:
1. Babar and Rizwan's batting

None taken broskieNo hard feelings bro .
I agree with you. Misbah has a very timid approach. It Was a nightmare when he was the ODI captain
Babar also has shortcomings as captain. But what I dont agree with is questioning Babar the batsman which many posters are doing
unfortunately this means another bits and pieces player will get a free ride for a long time coming now...Fluky innings from Salman comes to an end . He should have been out 3-4 times but was lucky no one was there to catch
Where does Sarfraz comes into this . You are stuck with these stuff misbah vs this , babar vs Sarfraz ,rizwan vs etc . Come out of these worshipping culture of your favouritesBabar was poor today too, shall we drop him too. And make sarfaraz the captain with ifti at number 4![]()

Going by this argument, you can even make Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharna look like mediocre batsmenWhat I would say about Babar's batting is the ODI stats (mid 50s average and high 80s strike rate) don't match up to his true caliber.
He has feasted against underpowered and minnow bowling attacks. If you look at the last 2 x Asia Cups, last year's WT20 and in this World Cup, you can see he's not a top tier white ball batsman.
If he was regularly playing first string bowling attacks, his average would be more like 40 and his strike rate would be 80.
Going by this argument, you can even make Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharna look like mediocre batsmen
Kohli was a beast in ODIs from 2014 to 2019 but the 3 most important ODIs India played during this time
2015 WC semi vs Australia
2017 CT final vs Pakistan
2019 WC semi vs New Zealand
He scored single digits in all 3 matches and India lost all 3. All 3 were run chases- so much for being the chase master
All of Rohit Sharma's double hundreds came on the flattest of wickets against mediocre bowling
Point is, Babar is better than anyone we have playing cricket right now. Especially in ODIs- the format that comes naturally to him
One bad tournament doesn't decrease the class he possesses
He is the current Cricketer of the Year and the ODI Cricketer of the Year. Why didn't other players win those awards?
Mohammad Amir helped Pakistan win a match in CT2017. Their pacers usually chip in with bat.In this team, Shaheen has the biggest heart - he really gives his best, try to contribute in whatever capacity he can and really hates loosing. He is the right candidate for captaincy.
I agree he always gives his 100%, but making a fast bowler captain is always risky. What happens if he gets injuredIn this team, Shaheen has the biggest heart - he really gives his best, try to contribute in whatever capacity he can and really hates loosing. He is the right candidate for captaincy.

It's the same argument deadly Venom pulled on me. Misbah doesn't have a low iq, he's the definition of corruption. He knew 110% what he was doing. That's what I'm saying.
Maybe because other teams don't play Nepal and D string bowling attacksGoing by this argument, you can even make Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharna look like mediocre batsmen

Mickey arthur looking like he's going to cry any minute
I can see people waiting with tomatoes at the airportSuffice to say, these players and their careers are in serious trouble when they land back in Pakistan.
Babar has to take full responsibility for the support he gave to consistently failing players. Let’s see the fall-out, there will be some major changes now.
Only if he improves his bowling. We don’t need him as a batsmen we just need him to be impactful as a bowlerIn this team, Shaheen has the biggest heart - he really gives his best, try to contribute in whatever capacity he can and really hates loosing. He is the right candidate for captaincy.
To be fair to him, mickey isn't exactly a great coach either.Make no mistake, I knew he was a cunning individual. If you watch every ball from when he came out to bat during the 2011 WC SF, you could clearly see that he didn't care about the run rate climbing. Even Ravi Shashtri in commentary, with his Indian hat on, was perplexed by Misbah's approach. After the game had finished, Nick Knight said "I'm angry by what I've just seen". He didn't specify his name but everyone knew what he meant. You could see from a mile away that he was playing in a way to do boost his chances of retaining a place in the side, which he successfully accomplished.
The other notable example of him being a self-serving leech was when he ousted Mickey Arthur to take his job for himself.
You have to protect him by proper spacing in games, blocking (& compensating) from any T20 leagues apart from PSL. Appoint someone like Shadab as deputy and play Shaheen in alternate games/Series May be unless it’s a Test series or icc event.I agree he always gives his 100%, but making a fast bowler captain is always risky. What happens if he gets injured
He is still by far the best bowler in this team - got a bit spoiled playing in three formats with different types of ball and different game strategy. He still can be a fantastic bowler for next 10-12 years & can be developed into a very good No. 8… instead of fake all-roundersOnly if he improves his bowling. We don’t need him as a batsmen we just need him to be impactful as a bowler
that was ramizHaris Rauf is courageous - Waqar

Their best LOI bowler has been TOpley. But he is highly injury prone.Gus Atkinson is an inferior version of Ihsanullah.
Imagine if England had a guy like Ihsanullah. How well they would be handling him.
To be fair to him, mickey isn't exactly a great coach either.
Ct 2017 was sarfi's vision, not mickey's. Mickey only has one suggestion which is having babar bat at 3 in all formats.
Fakhar opening, Hafeez at 4, imad as a finisher is all sarfi's doing, mainly imad cause sarfi and imad played and won together during under 19 2006.
But ousting mickey is a huge con.
Thats like if I have a broken truck and I replace my broken truck with a broken scooter.
Atleast the broken truck can protect me from rain, provide me shelter and give me a place to sleep, what is a broken scooter gonna do?
