Pakistan A Beat England Lions by 4 wickets in 3rd unofficial T20I

The thing that has always stood out about sharjeel even when he has failed is his genuine ability to strike the ball well , some of the other players inspite of being hacks struggle to even hit the ball , Sharjeel has no such issues , monster hitter this guy
 
I hope the selectors and Afridi are watching and seeing Nawaz bowl have realised how daft they were for not picking spinners and going in with medium pacers against a side like England in UAE conditions.
Really should have won that series 2-1 .
 
May not be as opener, but Maqsood should be tried at 3 in T20.

I see it this way - there is 2 optimism - 1. play Maqsood at 3 & expect once in every 4 innings, he'll stay till 10th overs or
2. Play Ahmed as T20 opener & expect he stays at the wicket once in every alternate innings till 10th over

I know, which has a better chance to win a T20 match.
 
Afridi is there watching the match in stadium with selection committee. It looks like Afridi is really serious about his last world t20 campaign as captain. What if GOP or PCB don't allow the team to participate :13:

We have bowlers whose are above 140 like Abbas, Aftab Ali Khan, and i believe Hassan Ali and Ammad But are also pacy.

Correction brother not Aftab Ali Khan it's Altaf Ahmed Khan.

To add to this Ali Imran Pasha and Shehzad Azam rana can also bowl 140+

Most deadly limited overs and T20 bowler can be Afraz Khoso with his deadly yorkers at pace. Could have been perfect Umar Gul replacement but shame on PCB that first they select him for emerging camp as a emerging bowler and give him to wasim akram for his camp than they don't draft him in any first class team and than they don't pick him for any category of PCB draft.

This is a ridiculous system called pakistan cricket. Even sadaf , Abbass, Irfan Wapda, Sameen, Bilal Shah and Ali Imran aren't in the draft along with Afraz Khoso and salman Irshad.

I would leave out both.

Open with Sharjeel & Nauman.

Why do you always make fake assumptions about bowlers pace?

Shehzad Azam Rana is a 86mph bowler max. Probs even less.
 
Hope selectors won't include sharjeel just because of this 50+ score in WC squad. I would like to see only Babar, JK, Mir Hamza, Maqsood and maybe Bilal Asif in the WC team. Everyone else are not of international standard

Has happened in 2011 WC, 2012 WT20, 2013 CT and 2014 WT20

Don't know what sources does that crap batsman have to come back so shamelessly each time

Yep he is damn serious about this last world cup. But i hope he do some sensible selections, like picking Sharjeel and not using Maqsood as an opener :)
 
Not a big fan of Saad (nothing against him; I just feel we have better options), but have got to admit, he does well under pressure. Very good innings today.
