Pak A batting after Zimbabwe A won toss

Ghulam is playing So is Shadab and fahim ashraf

This is good bowling lineup than the last one

Imagine if Shadab is groomed well with both bat n Ball and grabs that 6th spot of National ODI team, we would have a bowling attack of Wahab,Amir,Hassan,Nawaz,Imad, shadab n Malik so many bowling option and you can have a fast bowling Allrounder replacing nawaz/Imad depending on Pitch.

Just like England cricket team. Now a days, all-rounders are the most important for the team.

Pakistan A finish with 310/5.

Zain Abbas 108 (117)
Fakhar Zaman 81 (103)
Umar Amin 52 (36)
Shadab Khan 28 (17)

3 openers in the next squad

1.Sharjeel
2.Azhar(Realistically)
3.Fakhar(Back up)

3 openers for CT17

1.Sharjeel
2.Fakhar
3.Imam(Back up)

Fakhar should be in the team for next year's champions trophy

1. Sharjeel Khan
2. Fakhar Zaman
3. Babar Azam
4. Malik
5. Sarfaraz
6. U Akmal
7. Imad Wasim
8. Nawaz
9. Amir
10. Sohail Khan
11. Hassan Ali

12. Asad Shafiq
13. Shadab Khan
14. Wahab Riaz
15. Aamer Yamin

Pakistan A bowling was not good; only Mir Hamza was good with economy of under 4 and 2 wickets

Fakhar Zaman and Umar Amin both deserve a national team call

4) Umar Amin
5) Sarfraz
6) Malik
7) Imad
8) Nawaz
9) Wahab
10) Aamir
11) Hassan Ali

So PP's darling Ghulam Mudassir went for 71 off his 9 overs and picked up 2 wickets against an utterly average Zim side.

Good thing I don't go by this PP hype machine.

Good not to overhype anyone, but also this is just one game. You can't make a judgement either way.

What is this hack bowling attack chosen by us.

Last game we lost to them.

This game 9 measly runs.

Yeah you can say I'm being petty, but when you have B teams of other countries pounding the international level Zim 5-0 w/o breaking a sweat then you know there is a problem.

You used to say the same about Babar-e-Azam :kakmal

Umar amin.

Again a great knock, this time a speedyy one. Good thing about him is that he can attack without taking any risks. So many strokes with perfect timing.

Very Kohli-sque. More aesthetic though.

Making Sohaib Maqsood a captain, was a dumb decision, why not someone else young?

yes but that was a safe option as they want Umar Amin to bring back to his best... he was the only senior most than Maqsood, rightfully given... want youngsters to flourish and also see how maqsood fares as a captain ...dont forget he holds a degree in sports science...Umar Amin is still an option waiting for his time in tests, after MYK and MISBAH are gone... with haris injury Umar amin's chances are increasing, happy he scored in every single match 3 fifties in 4 matches already...

where did u watch the match, is there a live telecast..

Big slap on the face of those who say Umar Amin is a slow player blah blah.

Showed his class today. My friend Emanuel based in Harare said that Amin's knock was the best of the game, a lot of lofts, drives, pure cricketing strokes. No hacking, no swipes across the line.

Think he knows time is running out, and won't be surprised if he is opening alongside Sharjeel some time next year in ODIs.

this a real zimbok batting lineup... Waller, chigumbura, sibanda, sikander raza...only chibaba, masakadza and williams are missing i guess..

Umar Amin had captained before as well, would have been a better option, he is tactically decent.

want him to get a hundred once in the ongoing series... he has so many fifties, for a top order batsman u need to make hundreds more.....

Umar Amin was never given a fair chance in Limited overs format. Even in tests he was given chance in England when conditions were very tough for batsmen. Those conditions were literally unplayable for batsmen from both sides.

I believe he richly deserves a fair long run especially in Limited overs cricket.

Lol Emanuel doesn't exist :afridi

Umar Amin should target Malik's number 4 spot. Malik would be gone by this time next year so it is imperative that Amin makes it to the squad so he is able to take the vacant spot.

Fakhar will probably replace Sharjeel or Azhar later this year.

Good batting talent coming through for Pak. We already have the best young batsman in the world in the shape of Babar Azam at 3.

I would get him in test team before Babar Azam; badly needs a good left hand batsman

It's just one game, seriously, I'll give you a better example.

Look at how one match of Shahid Afridi cost Pakistan for 20 years, now is it really a crime to see Ghulam get another game when we know that no one will ever get the Afridi treatment ever again ?

Hard to maintain control when your not looking at where your bowling...

If you don't rate this guy, then you know nothing pace bowling. He has all the tools, pace and swing-both conventional and reverse, has a mean bouncer. What else do you want from a bowler.

It takes something to be selected for Pakistan A and Lahore Qalandars with minimal experience.

Once he solves his technical issues, he'll be world class.

It's one game and he is 16 years old! How about giving some time before writing off a talented prospect.

Don't forget Saud,Imam Ul Haq, and Ahsan Ali. Some good talent coming through.

Fakhar failed in england and now scoring against mediocre bowling

No thank you.

You have a point, but it is not like this is the first time Fakhar is scoring runs. He has been scoring quite consistently against better attacks as well. To crucify someone just because they failed on their first tour to England is being too harsh.

Nobody is asking him to be selected tomorrow, but he is definitely banging on the door.

And may I remind you one of our openers is Azhar Ali

England was his real test and he failed to impress , I was his fan before the england tour but I have some doubts. May be one two more A tours to countries like Australia , south Africa , nz and then we can judge him but based on his performances against Zimbabwe after his failures against england I won't select him.
