Just because he batted slow doesn't make him an awful batsman, he could be a Sami Aslam like talent who'd be better suited to Test Cricket then ODI's or T20's

PAkistan made 339, of which 54% belong to Fakhar Zaman (180), simply a fantastic knock. Should've gone for 200.

Pakistan was really slow initially infront of team like Zimbabwe, Jaahid Ali scored like he was playing 5 day test match, a defensive player. Sohaib Maqsood should'v been promoted up the order to push the scoring.

Pakistan on intl. standards compared to ODI top 4 is 30-40 runs short. Umar Amin surprisingly wasint interested in more than 10 runs per over in last 10 overs, facing such an ineffective weak bowling. They should've made the most of it. Fakhar Zaman changed gears and from 11 of 30 in 11th overs went on to take his strike rate to 123

He will not perform in every match. It's also possible that his game was more suited to the England tracks, can't really say without seeing him bat. But the strike rate has been abysmal in this series; as mentioned above it would've been very costly if the opposition was of a decent level.
