Pakistan appears to be playing a key backchannel role in possible U.S-Iran negotiations

Haram ?? LOL ! Dude , you and your regressive religious B/S. Get a life, and stop exporting this religious nonsense to wherever you guys immigrate to. 🤡:moyo2
Man Fng Man is the 3rd most searched keyword in pak.they have different taste. You have to watch the YouTube video analysis for Pakistan most searched top 3 words by American news anchors 🤣

^ In this video, Arnab tells the Pak guest providing butler service to the american & iranian officials in a meeting, does not make you mediators. Harsh but I chuckled at that one. He does come up with odd zinger.

Thank you for the clip, @Rana
Indeed he is well known for his infamous zingers during Operation Tandoor. Such legit accurate reporting, I am amazed how it all became content for legendary face palm memes.

By the way, has he located where along the coast Faisalabad port is on the map? Maybe you can drop him a pin. :facepalm

But "you" and your folks will " watch " it though.. Hypocrites . Bunch of religious bigots . Consent is an alien concept to you al. As long as it is consensual, who cares..
And this is my last post on this as it is off-topic and dont want to derail this thread. You can post in the OF creator dead thread if you want to post more .
Just like with your “daddy,” the PDF, every accusation seems more like a confession.

And the behavior you’re trying to pin on Muslims is something Indians are often criticized for themselves.

Not derailing, calling you out for who you are, so you can run away and get this thread back to what it suppose to be.

You got to realize the likes of Arna, Sean hannity , Bill O reilly etc are entertainers and not journalists. Eyeballs is their top priority no matter how they get there . And I have got no issues with it. :)

Even partisan hacks like Arnab can be amusing occasionally. Credit where it is due.

Regressive behavior is regressive behavior, no matter what religion it is . Run away ? Dude, yeah on an opaque internet forum . :ROFLMAO:🤡

**The official outlined five specific conditions under which Iran would agree to end the war. These include:

A complete halt to "aggression and assassinations" by the enemy.

The establishment of concrete mechanisms to ensure that the war is not reimposed on the Islamic Republic.

Guaranteed and clearly defined payment of war damages and reparations.

The conclusion of the war across all fronts and for all resistance groups involved throughout the region

International recognition and guarantees regarding Iran's sovereign right to exercise authority over the Strait of Hormuz.**

Chaprasi nation is crying now 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Operation BM ke baad @Devadwal ne bhi dhiyan nahi kia tha burnol lagate waqt. ab ussko gandi aadat pur chuki hai her waqt ungli ghayab rehti hai.

Yeah but are the countries i.e. Pakistan, Turkey and Egypt jumping in to help the negotiation motivated to be even handed on this? Maybe Turkey...can't see the others.

It feels like you’re arguing just for the sake of it.

I’m honestly not sure what your point is here.

Why do you think it’s a bad idea for countries that aren’t directly involved to help with negotiations?

I mean it's pointless for countries that aren't really neutral to play the in-betweens. For example Saudi has been repeatedly attacked t by Iran in this conflict and Pakistan is on Saudi's side. Beyond protecting Saudi, Pakistan's main motivation is to get Iran to agree to a simple ceasefire and open the strait.

Iran won't really trust these mediators and the talks will go nowhere. So we need genuinely neutral mediators who actually want to help find a solution. Pakistan, Egypt etc. aren't it. And note that I'm not suggesting India is it either.

No! it is not pointless.

Humiliation for Pakistan..

Iran Denies Permission To Pakistan Bound Ship Trying To Cross Hormuz As Indian Ships Sail Through.

Iran has reinforced its authority over the Strait of Hormuz by turning back the Pakistan bound container vessel SELEN for failing to meet legal transit requirements.

Tehran maintains that compliant, non-hostile vessels can pass, but warned ships linked to the United States or Israel may face restrictions.

Pakistan is probably as neutral as you will get. Saudis and Iranians may have their own beef but Pakistan is not involved in any way. They are one of the few countries which have refused to recognise israel and also condemned the zionist strikes which set the war in motion.

But at the same time, I don't blame Iran for not accepting mediation while Pakistan is also beholden to the US. This is where the Pak military institution has lost trust with friendly nations. Imran Khan's govt would have made a far more acceptable intermediary.

Pakistan's even less neutral than India and Iran wouldn't trust India as a mediator. Setting aside being beholden to the US and having a mutual defense pact with Saudi, Pakistan fought an effing missile battle with Iran not too long ago. A few invective-filled statements against the zionists aren't going to change that.

That was initiated by Iran over Baloch seperatists, Pakistan retaliated, and both countries de-escalated and normalised relations.

Pakistan has no reason for ill relations with Iran and according to Indian posters, they have already angered Saudis by refusing military involvement despite the Iran strikes on Saudi Arabia.

Some Indians are being needlessly uptight over this. Pakistan are mediating due to their vital strategic interests - namely restoring stability in the energy market through reopening of the Strait, and preventing a third hot border.

Ali Vaez of the International Crisis Group said there's evidence Israel is supporting Baloch militants in Iranian Balochistan. State collapse in Iran would have a catastrophic spillover effect in Pakistan's Balochistan where the government was struggling to contain the insurgency even before this war.

Besides, a swift end to this war is in the interests of the entire world but particularly South Asian countries who massively rely on oil and fertiliser through the Strait. The longer this continues, the more the poorest will struggle to survive. Who cares who mediates ?

The government slammed Pakistan at an all-party meeting on the West Asia crisis on Wednesday, with the Centre hitting out at Islamabad over their reported role as the mediator between United States and Iran in the ongoing conflict.

Responding sharply to concerns around Pakistan’s reported mediation efforts, external affairs minister S Jaishankar said, “We are not a dalaal (Broker) nation,” news agency PTI reported citing sources.

The response came even as the Opposition questioned India’s stance and response to the fast-evolving situation in the West Asia. The remark comes even as Pakistan emerged as a potential host for negotiations between the US and Iran, with US President Donald Trump seeming to endorse Islamabad's role.

Jaishankar added that there was “nothing new” about Pakistan’s role, the country has been “used” by the US since 1981, PTI reported citing sources.

At the meeting, the government further added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had conveyed to US President Donald Trump that the war must end soon, stressing that the ongoing conflict is hurting all sides.

The government also dismissed Opposition claims that New Delhi had remained silent on the crisis. According to the news agency sources, the government asserted that “we are commenting and responding.”

On the question of India’s response to developments in Iran, the government said due protocol had been followed. It pointed out that when the Iran embassy was opened, the foreign secretary visited immediately and signed the condolence book, countering allegations of a delayed or weak response over the killing of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in US-Israel strike.

Opposition leaders, however, remained unconvinced. They termed the government’s replies at the meeting “unsatisfactory” and demanded a full discussion on the issue in Parliament.

Congress leader Tariq Anwar criticized the Centre, saying Pakistan appeared to be playing mediator while “we are still mute spectators.” He called for a debate in the Lok Sabha under Rule 193 and in the Rajya Sabha under Rule 176.

The high-level meeting, held at the Parliament complex, saw participation from key members of the cabinet committee on security, including defense minister Rajnath Singh, home minister Amit Shah, external affairs minister S Jaishankar and finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman.

Health minister JP Nadda and parliamentary affairs minister Kiren Rijiju were also present. Foreign secretary Vikram Misri briefed leaders with a detailed presentation.

From the Opposition, leaders including Tariq Anwar and Mukul Wasnik (Congress), Dharmendra Yadav (Samajwadi Party) and Sasmit Patra (BJD) attended the discussions.

Receiving criticism from international community for the undiplomatic language used. Not only did he disgrace India by using this kind of cheap language but also exposed how rattled Indians are at seeing Pakistan surpassing them in global importance where India got reduced to an unreliable and shameless war profiterring nation.

"Pakistan has been used by US since 1981".

Also India:

Saar Pakistan hide Osama Bin Laden from USA
Saar Pakistan support Taliban to kill US soldiers
Saar Pakistan play double games with US

These have to jump through mental hoops to come to these conclusions.
