Insights
- Apart from Babar Azam not a single genuine batsman averages more than 30
- Players averaging more than 30 (apart from Babar) are all ARs (Rizwan, Shadab, Faheem and Zafar)
- Haris Sohail has an average of 6 from 6 Innings and he missed the tours of AUS and Eng. He’d have been dropped by now if he had played in those
- Rizwan has scored 0.3 runs more(per innings) than Babar
- Rizwan is your second best (or may be even the best) player in your team
- Rizwan averages 54.5 in last 6 innings
- Azhar seems to have found some form, averages 69(one not out) in last 6 innings
- Shan and Haris HAVE to (and will) be dropped
- Abid, even though I’ve no hopes from him, but given the lack of openers in the circuit can be played. Especially given the fact that Pak just plays in Asia or WI
- Fawad has 0, 21, 0*, 9, 102, 2 and 16. So just one successful Innings out of 7. He’s to be booted out soon given the fact there are some decent middle order players in the circuit(Usman, Kamran, Saud and Agha)

To conclude, stop playing mediocre and “experienced” players.

To wrap it up, this is the current situation of batting

???? (Abid)
????
Azhar
Babar
???? (Fawad)
Rizwan
Faheem/ Shadab

Note: Names in the bracket have to be replaced sooner than later

Out of top 7, just 4 are playing on merit Azhar, Babar, Rizwan and Faheem/ Shadab

The solution

Available players in the domestic circuit are all middle order batsmen, and Azhar has played as an opener. Averages really good as an opener. So move him up

(Abid/ Imam/ xyz)
Azhar
Usman Salahuddin
Babar
Fawad (Saud/ Kamran are his replacements)
Rizwan
Faheem/ Shadab/ Agha Salman
Hassan Ali
Sajid Khan/ Nauman Ali/ Zafar Gohar
Shaheen Afridi
3rd pacer (May be W Maqsood/ xyz)

The MOST IMPORTANT THING. Just domestic performers please. No more “talented players”
