With zero failure rates in the past, why do they even bother testing these missiles?

Anyway, I have been bored with these bird names. Now I want bloodthirsty missiles to be tested like Tipu Sultan and Taimour. Not this Shaheen Crap.

Heard that it's actual range is way more, like even 2x the given official number? any security experts can shed some light? The reason for not disclosing that number is some geo political concerns and restrictions.

Pakistan found them and I think executed them

Took pakistan 6 years to recover from the setback and retest the missile .

Yes, Shaheen 2 was already 2500 km, so it's doubtful the actual difference is only 250 km. However no official confirmation will likely ever come.

dr wasim akram a mettellaurgist and engineer in shaheen 3 in particular engine and motors was handed death sentence ,


Lt gen iqbal sentenced to jail 14 years


They worked for cia and were part of selling secrets and in wasim akram case espionage I.e put a spanner in the works of shaheen programe which he did . I'm not 100 % sure what happened but I remember there were quite a few arrests reprimands of army officers .

Like CIA needs that kind of info/secrets. And why there was no news in media about it?

Only thing I know is that Pakistan has the only program is the world with 100 % success rate in such tests. And experts believe that the reason is obvious as they are imported versions of well tested north korean and Chinese hardware.

Not all of them. Pakistan's missile program is nearly forty years old. its not out of this world technology and the forces are fully capable of creating and modifying their own arsenal now ala babar raad etc. Shaheen is also indigenous although some of the other missiles are "inspired" by our friends. Either way it matters little where and how these missiles have come only that we have them..but its not as simple as our indian friends claim where we bought them and just slapped paint over them.
