Pakistan cricketer Haider Ali arrested In UK over Rape Allegations, Later released on Bail [Updated@ Post#15]

You just contradicted yourself. As i said, the players are given a daily allowance on tour.

You presented the argument of the off field pov, when i proved that it doesnt work you are now changing your words.

It doest matter what you or me have to say, PCB will slowly keep him out of future tours now.
You presented the argument that the players get paid to be on tour, so they should not indulge in such activities on tour. That argument falls flat when I pointed out that the payment argument does not work because they get paid a monthly salary as well when they are not on tour... so, tour or no tour does not change anything. Where is the contradiction?

Now, the off field part. You presented Kaneria's case as the argument. I pointed out that it is not "off field" because he was caught fixing a cricket game. How can that be off field? Also, it was criminal act, a clear violation of Kaneria's employment contract. So, this argument of yours also falls flat because both those things are not applicable in Haider's case (assuming consensuality). Where did I change my words?

I never said it matters. I am not out here influencing PCB's decision.

Poor mentality, as these players are role models of future generations of players.

Funny how people who cry about players being unprofessional and ill disciplined then don't see any problem with problematic role models who influence future generations.

I have always said, if you had banned Asif forever, Amir would never have strayed and would have a long, nice career.

You cannot keep crying about lack of professionalism on one hand while letting unprofessional behavior go unpunished again and again and again.

BCCI disciplined two of our bigger stars for just an unprofessional interview. Something like this will end careers in most countries.
A very dumb argument.

These players are role models for future generation not for how they live their private lives but for their profession! No kid, in their right mind, would say that I want to emulate the values by which Pakistani cricketers live their lives. Mind you, almost all these cricketers come from a very underprivileged backgrounds with no education and usually not a very strong sense of ethics and morals (not blaming them because its a product of their environment). So, no one is looking up to them outside of a cricket field. Kids still want to be like Amir, does that mean they also want to fix games?

Haider is not paid to live a morally correct life off the pitch. He is paid to play cricket and play it right. Kids who make him their role model will still want to play cricket like it.

Banning Asif does not compare because Asif got involved in activities that were illegal and were also detrimental to his cricket. Till now, Haider's actions have not been proven to be either.

If the Australian board starts policing their cricketers on who they sleep with, they wouldn't be left with a team!
