Where are the others? The silence and measured statements from the vast majority of our cricketing fraternity has been disgraceful, they valued their Indian money more than their country

They know they're facing India on June 16th so they don't want to raise people's expectations.

Which Indian money? They are on no IPL contract. Its best for sports people to play sports.

trust me they know if they lose there house won,t be pleated with stones.Underdog are not the one who are in pressure it is favorites so already feel the indian team pressure before the clash

What the hell ? Where is guys like Wasim, Waqar etc ??????????????????????????? all major Indian sports personalities have thrown their weight behind our Jawans...

Underdog are not the one who are in pressure it is favorites so already feel the indian team pressure before the clash
In situations like these, the "favourite" and "underdog" tags don't matter anymore. Both sets of fans and the media will look at this match in terms of revenge and a tribute for what's happened between the two countries.

Who cares? They are sportsman and anyways i don't think anyone in pakistan need to comment on pak-india relations to ensure that he or she is a patriot

you can tag me if pak lose and if something like stone pleating on pak cricketer happen. Are you sure about your side if they lose?

I hope Pakistani sport stars look and learn at the way their counterparts responded and show better class and maturity.

Umar Akmal what a clown. Always wants everything to be revolved around him even in this time.

Btw I’m glad the Pak cricketers and celebrities have been much more measured.
Indian celebrities have been warmongering since yesterday but it shows the class in the way their Pakistani counterparts have behaved. A massive gap.

Shoaib Akhtar sounding more educated, rational and level-headed than the likes of Sachin, Gavasker and Akshay Kumar. What a time to be alive!

LOL

:)) Umar Akmal, never change.

Ha! Pakistan gave a warning shot to one of your air-bases, downed two of your planes and captured three of your pilots. Yes, I'm sure a cricket match (that your team will most likely forfeit) will make up for all that.

nooo shoaib what are you doing :)) bhabi wont be happy :P

on topic, no need for Pak cricketers to respond, and lower themselves to indian cricketers and celebs. Also classic Umar Akmal lol

I dont care if they show public support or not- the army can take care of themselves, i care about them being ready for the WC match, and turning up with a passion never seen before.

They don't need to lower themselves to the level of the pandering and gullible 'Blue Brigade'.

So far sensible tweets by them excluding UK.

No disrespect to neighbors but sensible comments about protecting Pakistan and how there shouldn’t be no war between two countries.

Can’t believe Pak is behaving in such calm manners from a common man to a celebrity.

Pakistan has suffered around 70,000 losses from different terrorist groups. We genuinely want peace and not friction.

Did he actually post his own pic?:10:

Reply of Pak cricketers is far calmer. It is the likes of Ali Zafar and Atif Aslam who will be crying like babies. No doubt current events have more or less killed all their hopes of ever working in India:maqsood. I have always greatly disliked such sellouts.

I'd rather none of our cricketers, celebrities say anything on this matter. Just because entire India is behaving like rabid dogs, does not mean we need to stoop to that level.

Still, the messages I've seen from our side are far more measured. But silence would be even better.

Not in favor of cricketers jumping in on this mess but I guess when you're dealing with a jingoistic nation like India, you aren't left with a choice.
