I have learnt to lower my expectations.

If we win great - if not, we are still a rubbish team anyway.

However, we can all dream and I still secretly hope/pray we left the CT come June 18th!

The vibes from this tournament have been pleasant so far, We are going to steamroll England in semis and Bangladesh will be at the receiving end of thrashing in the final after a close fight.

This tournament belongs to Pakistan. We have the best bowling unit who will improve with every game. The stage is set for our pace trio to get the recognition from the world. I am confident that they will not disappoint.

Hassan, Amir and Junaid together can topple any batting unit. We are lucky to have 3 match winning fast bowlers, if any of them fires, opposition will have some really tough time.

What I would like to see is them giving a good solid fight regardless of the result. Neither want to see them lose with heads held down already in 15 overs while bowling or while the score is 60 for 4, nor wants to see them win with a fluke(well I'd take a fluke win but would prefer to see them fight and lose). But then sometimes its just fluke here and there which makes Pakistan win the matches anyways!


I just hope Pakistani Team can draw some inspiration from Bangladesh's win against New Zealand while batting and continue the moment they had while fielding against South Africa. But consistency is something our team lacks hugely.

Im all positive. There are stil huge questions mark on certain slections but we must back the team now.

Against SL its really 50 50. We need to make it count.
