You can't have bunch of new bowlers all the time and then hype them. It rarely works. I regularly see bunch of no names getting hyped without any sustained performance. Keep hype low. Let sustained performance do the talking. Make sure that you don't have bunch of new bowlers playing together.

Simply plan better. It's not as bad as minnows, but planning needs to be a lot better.

Naseem, Rauf & Hasnain are all extremely overhyped & not half as good as they or their fans think they are.

Hassan Ali was actually much better than them but he is washed up now.

Shaheen is the only world class fast bowler in Pakistan right now & he needs to be managed very carefully. Bowlers like him are generational.

The selectors need to make it clear to the likes of the following

1) Mohd Hasnain
2) Mohd Wasim Jr
3) Haris Rauf
4) Shanawaz Dhani
5) Mohammad Musa
6) Shadab Khan

That they better start playing 4 day games or their central contracts will either be downgraded and they won't be given NOC's.

Shinwari has retired from test and 4 day cricket. He said the doctors advised him to focus on the limited overs formats as his back cannot handle the strain of 4 day cricket. He has had plenty of back stress fractures.

The white ball attack is up there with the best. The test lineup in contrast is pretty bad.
Even shaheen isnt as good in test cricket with the old ball. Naseem will come through. He has bowled better than shaheen against australia and lanka for me recently.
Need a couple more bowlers to come through. Problem with pakistani pacers is they are learning test bowling on the job which is very hard.
Look at the terrible lengths Muhammad ali bowled and this guy has first class experience.Mir Hamza has the control on length that is required for the top level but he has his limitations too.

Where was Mir Hamza ? If your premier left arm swing bowler is injured, then replace like-for-like.

No he isn't as quick as Shaheen but he has some Test/County experience and would've been a better bet than throwing a bunch of debutants together.

Shaheen himself still has a lot to prove at test level. He’s flopped in all his overseas tours outside of the WI, SRL, BD and ZIM.
