Let's say, BD gifted the game to NZ rather than NZ winning it. Are we on the same page here?

That was an example to explain the situation - both games were won by NZ & ENG. But, if I say both games could have been won had BD not made mistakes (or Kiwis, Poms made more mistakes) .... that still won't put us in same page.

Roy may have a weakness against leg-spin, but he was up against a poor leg-spinner (Shadab) who averages almost close to 40 against the major teams. Let's say the play each other 10 times. How many times would you back a mediocre spinner like Shadab to dismiss Roy in the first over?

Every good or even the best player can be put under the hammer by another bunch, true, but if a 6th ranked team has to beat a top ranked team, the top ranked team must perform below its capability. This is why their is a difference in rankings.

There is no doubt Pakistan produced a very good performance, but again, a 6th ranked side cannot beat a top ranked side if both produce very good performances. The top ranked side has to underperform for the 6th ranked side to prevail. If both teams are equal at their best, then England wouldn't be 1st and Pakistan wouldn't be 6th.

No body is discussing or claiming that Pakistan is a better team than England or Why pakistan is at no.6
or how pathetic this team has been performing in ODI etc etc

The point was simple that Their have been few but marked improvement and They have displayed tremendous skills to out perform Such a strong English side.

I have only one problem when you refuse to give credit to the "Better side of the day"

No one anywhere else is claiming anything else.

If you can post so many lines highlighting known weakness and negatives than you must
also have praising them whenever they do well

No they don't have ANY edge on Australia, it's the opposite. They won and important toss in swinging conditions with some green on the pitch, and still lost.

If Pakistan batted first I believe they would have got rolled for a low score.

The pitch was damp and hence initially bowl was coming slow but once the moisture
dried up it become lively with ball starting to zip.

As I said, this pathetic team had to keep Warner, Starc, Cummins and Smith quiet to win the match. They only managed to negate Smith and to an extent Starc.

Pakistani fans deserve this humiliation for hyping up this team as world-beaters and mentioning catchphrases such as ‘We are unpredictable.1992! CORNERED TIGERS!!!’

Pakistan has lost 24 of its last 27 matches and Pakistanis have the guts to call Australia a ‘Hyped team’.

Hopefully, Australia knocked some sense into Pakistanis last night.
