Another Cheap shot at Sarfi, Yes he is bad but you keep supporting the pathetic batsmen of all time.. the greatest Umar Akmal

Drop Umar Akmal too. And Ahmed Shehzad. But remember the root of the problem is captain.

Shehzad
Akmal
Sarfraz
Asif
Shadab
Wahab (Maybe)

They all should be dropped from Third game.

Bring.

Haris
Iftikhar
Rizwan
Shinwari
Nawaz
And where the hell are Shinwari and Rauf?

not a cheap shot. the captain is a joker.

Well OP has a history of taking cheap shots on him. Yes Sarfaraz shouldn't be in the team regardless of the format. But How can you explain the recall of Failed players in the team. You can bring anyone to captain the side unless you select proper players nothing will change.

The new captain will look good for couple of series then he will be immune to this pathetic cricket system/culture of ours.

PCB were stupid enough to change the coaching staff and this would be compounded by changing the captain as well.

There is no short term fix other than longer term consistency.

Let Sarfraz stay in t20 since the WC is just 11 months away.@; He must bat at 6 or lower.
Rizwan should replace him in Test and ODI. Make Azhar atest captain and Babar Odi captain

Imad should be T20 captain.

Sarfraz, Akmal, Shehzad, Asif, Shadab, Faheem need the boot.

Rizwan, Haris, Zafar should come in.

bro. the recall player failed yes.

But there were still 4 other players.

The captain was suppose to lead from fornt and the 3 others were to perform atleast.

If 2 recalled cant perform, doesnt mean the captain gets leverage.

Also its not just one game, sarfraz has been terrible for quite some time now. If it was one off match or series than he would had not gotten criticism

The stupidity of constantly changing is baffling! We have followed the same formula for decades without ever achieving consistent success.

Look before anyone is Captain they have to merit a place in the team, since Safraz innings in the champions trophy vs Sri Lanka I can not remember a single good innings he has had. Just to remind someone we are know in 2019! That two years. I think replace him Safraz with Rizwan or even Kamran Akmal. We can not keep carrying a player it’s meant to be 11 vs 11

There are 2 T20 WCs in two consecutive years. No point in keeping him for that.

This was my last comment on PP until Sarfraz gets dropped in all 3 formats

I agree with OP, Sarfaraz needs to go, no team has such a captain who is as that unimportant to the team's cause. He isnt a captain you want with an inexperienced coach.

It's time for Captain Calamity to step down if he has any humility at all, but I guess he won't. His batting is poor, his field placings are atrocious. his running between the wickets is schoolboy level and his ability to raise the team's morale is non-existent.

Our tried and tested failures of Ahmed Shehzad and Umar Akmal should not be allowed anywhere near a cricket pitch. Fakhar Zaman needs to start turning up at matches. Give him a couple of more games and then show him the door. Babar Azam should never have been opening the batting in the last two games as I believe it just added unnecessary pressure on him.

Shadab Khan is clearly having a crisis of confidence. He should be given a break for a few games. Our bowlers needs to lose the short and wide bowling mentality. They need to start thinking outside of the box. This brain dead mentality of bowling the same garbage over and over again is costing us matches. If we're getting hit for boundaries, let's bowl around the wicket, let's bowl some slower balls, let's disrupt the batsman's rhythm by pulling up short. We should be trying something different.

Our batsmen have no feet movement and they can barely hit the ball. Are they wearing concrete boots? Their schoolboy slog the ball and hope for the best mentality is costing us games that we should be winning. If we can't rotate the strike, then it's time to find players who can. This is the worst team I have seen in years and we look nowhere near professional level.

It's time to start kicking the dead wood out of the team, easier said than done I know. Fine the batsmen who throw away their wickets or cause run outs. Misbah and co, you need to stop living in the past and you really need to stop with the sifarishi attitude. It's time to give up this third world country mentality of the selfish arrogance and nepotism that we so proudly display. It's time to show some humility.

No one player (past or present) is bigger than the team. It's time to stand up to corrupt attitudes and it's time for these players, managers and the whole cricket board to start pledging allegiance to our flag and all that it stands for. Anyone who is in this for themselves and not for the team, should be kicked out. It's time to start playing for our country and national pride before we become the laughing stock of the cricketing world.

In over 40 years of watching cricket, I have never felt as angry as I have today. I will always support team Pakistan, because even though I was born in Pakistan, I have never lived there, but it is and always will be my home.

Keeping him in team confirms that we ain't winning the world cup. Need to get rid iff him right after this series and many others with him.

Couldn't have said it any clearer. Sarfaraz is disturbance in both limited overs formats.

ODI: Top 4 averaging 45+ and then this guy comes in with sub-25 rubbish. And the tail automatically follows afterwards so basically there will never be a reliable middle order of the team while he's there.

T20I: Can't hit the ball, neither can clear play anywhere apart from mid-on, mid-wicket. An easy wicket on any day.

The biggest passenger in the team, would not even make Pakistan A team at the moment.

Good to see a rare thing, someone supporting Sarfraz, must be some non-cricketing reasons . He is the worst wicketkeeper batsman to play for Pakistan and the luckiest one too.

before him we should have to get rid of akmals and selfies permanently from our national setup then its his turn and we need to give a hard stick to fakhar zaman as well

Should have been done months ago. If someone isn’t doing their job, you move them on . Sport goes on. You don’t keep someone ( especially a older player when it is proven they aren’t good enough) in the hope they come good through consistent selection.

Pakistan needs to move on from Sarfaraz

This guy is just a waste of space in the team now. He has nothing left to offer to Pakistan Cricket anymore, he can't hit, he can't bat aggressively and this is your international captain. The team needs a different direction now, Sarfaraz has reached his plateau

Sarfraz has become the chief Tried and Tested Failure.

Can't keep, can't bat and certainly can't captain.

Zimbabwe and Bangladesh (no disrespect) have way better reserve wicket keepers than Pakistan. That's a fact. Prove me wrong.

If not even now, then when exactly?

He adds no value to the team. His captaincy is not exceptional; his batting is weak, and he is a lousy wicketkeeper.

End of Sarfaraz Ahmed's Captaincy in T20Is?

The only positive from the series is that Safraz will be gone from the T20 as a player and captain.

He needs to be booted out - NOT asked to resign.

Rubbish player...

He's clearly desperate to score some runs. None with this much mediocrity can survive even in Pakistan cricket.

At the very least, in the t20 team, Sarfraz should be dropped for Mohammad Rizwan. Imad can easily be a good replacement for captaincy, I feel. However, I just don't think he'll be dropped anytime soon.
