I'll be satisfied with another competitive loss/draw. Better teams have come to NZ and lost. Losing away isn't a crime, most top teams lose away anyways (against other top teams), or at best draw. Losing without showing any fight is a crime.

I disagree. Much as it pains me, I see Pakistani losing the next test. The mentality isn’t there.

Pakistani has just come out after a fight so there is confidence. The coming days will fill their minds in with familiar doubts.

Imran Butt should go in at 3 where the ball will be softer, allowing him to play his natural game. If this move works out, we should proceed with it as he will be able to take up a spot permanently. He needs to play slowly and assess the pitch. It will be difficult, but if he is capable of scoring a 50 or more, he should establish himself soon.

Reminds me of the time posters here (including me) were full of optimism after Pakistan ran Australia incredibly close only to lose by 39 runs. And we all know what happened next.

As a Pakistani fan you learn many things. The most important of which is to temper your expectations.

Only way I can see 1-1 is if a couple of players somehow win it single-handedly. As a team game we're never going to win any match. And with other countries exploiting our player's weakness due to advanced analyses, our days of individual brilliance are also long gone.

We have a 'lose from anywhere' reputation now. That's the reason why Afghanistan fancies their chances against us and are incredibly upset when they don't end up winning.

Wayyyyy too premature. They showed application here but they need to continue to develop consistency. Big picture - we are nowhere near whats required to be a very good test team. Consistency is key. and for the love of god can we not play yasir outside of asia please.

No we should bowl again unless its even flatter than the last test but if we bowl first we must take our catches
