What's new

Pakistan is all set to lose to India on the 16th!

It is called compensation psychology.

If he knows for sure who is going to win, not only is there any point in watching the match, but he should bet all the money he has on India winning.

Well you are wrong I know Afghanistan and SL had no chance today still I watched the match. It's a World cup everyone who loves the game is going to watch

No, it was that you were not insecure and were watching the game as a neutral. Thinking a team will lose is not the same as knowing a team will lose.

There is more pressure on India to win, not because of qualifying but due to the recent events where they have been embarrased.

Pakistan need to put on a par score batting first or dont allow India to go over par. IF this happens, Im backing Pakistan to win this one.

This.
All the Boyz must be drilled this into their minds by the coach and management.
More pressure on India than us. Pakistan are not favourites so no need to take pressure.

I want to see the Boyz smiling on the pitch and enjoying the game at the same time.

Everyone knows Pakistan start as 70% favourites. Let's hope Indian boys are up to the challenge

You forget to add a decimal before that figure.

Not only Pak will loose tomorrow in a one sided contest, they will also loose against NZ and will thus bow out of tour.

By the time I finished playing cricket I felt it was 50-50 ratio. But now I tend to agree with my friend Gavaskar it's 60% mental strength & 40 % talent. Pakistan's cricket is done. India are massacring them. Feel for Pk fans of this era, they are truly a minnow. We may be one to, that is a different debate.

16 overs done and Pak headed for a pasting. The only thing in their favor, hard as it is to admit, is that at the toss, Sarfaraz looked far more chill than Kohli.

Matches can (usually) be determined within 10 overs for astute fans. 60/0 nowadays translates to 300 (barring a shocker). Pk can't chase 220, leave alone 300.

Think Pak will come back in the final 10 overs. Expect India to still win though.

When India were 50 odd for 0 after 10, this game was done. 50/0 becomes 150 after 30, which becomes ~ 300. Pakistan are out of this game.

Think they should follow your reasoning whenever there's chance of rain later in the day and just give us the 2 points already :)

I was born when BD was still PK. I still like PK as a team and certainly, before 2000, they were a fine side. I am old, old enough to remember Imran and Qadir, and even Abbas and guys before that. Post-2000, India have been transformed (Ganguly is the most important man ever in Indian cricket), and Pakistan have withered away.

These days, it is a no-contest.

I still maintain Pakistan is a decent team - but great but certainly not bad.

But if you go into the ground having conceded the match mentally, it is just the a funeral in action.

Why is IK tweeting advice to team , he can just call and talk he is freaking PM, I know he is the darling of posters but that is pretty avoidable from him.

I think the message was not for the team as much as it was for the nation.

All good, I will take it with the same good intentions as he gave it.
