They have no cricket for almost two months ,they easily can arrange the Test series or LOI Series against Ireland, Afghanistan or Zimbabwe atleast.

Since then, they have played no more Test cricket than Pakistan

Unfortunately test cricket in pak is dead.

Test cricket is not dead. Test attendance is dead. People can’t sit for 5 days in the baking sun on concrete slabs. In England a lot of retirees watch mid week and sometimes tickets on last days get reduced drastically to encourage numbers. Stadiums of course are better too. Certainly Pak need to improve numbers but viewership on Tv is still popular just a lot of illegal channels makes it difficult to fully appraise. When Pak come to England stadiums are full.

I have been saying this in the past. PSL is detrimental to our cricket. Yes it brings revenue but we can never become a great cricket nation by focussing only on PSL. We must strenghen our domestic cricket and focus a lot on Shaheen tours, Under 19, Under 21 tours etc. Thats where the cricketing growth is.

Even our neighbours do not depend on IPL for their cricketing growth. Its just some tamasha to make easy money.
