no doubt he has a variety of shots in his bucket, I think PCB should prioritize his performance over his weight and offer him a chance to play considering his impressive track record in T20s.

If the fixers had been hanged in the 90s, then we would have won the 2011 World Cup with Amir and Asif
But we looked at short term gains and didn't ban the players involved in fixing in the 90s. Just let them off by giving fines
So selecting Azam would set a wrong precedent. He may win us many games in the short run but the long term effect of selecting over-weight cricketers would be detrimental
Just look at Virat's innings against us in the Asia Cup. He was able to score so many runs in the end only because he is super fit. Came to bat in the 16th over, but even in the 50th over, didn't look tired at all. Was easily turning singles into doubles
