On what basis does Amir get a 6 and Abbas a 4.5?

Amir's bowling figures over 2 tests are 1-164 (did not bowl in SL 2nd innings in the 2nd test) and a batting average of 6. (expected A LOT more from him with the bat).

Abbas bowling figures over 2 tests meanwhile were 8-203.

And Shan Masood for that innings of 16 off 72 that's 12 overs for 16 runs I guess he saw of the new ball.

I would still give Shan higher marks than Babar. At least the guy scored a half century in the series. What did Babar do? Plus Babar played absolutely horrendous shots to get out. We all knew not to expect much from Shan or Sami but people on PP were hailing Babar as the new Don Bradman.
Babar was by far the worst specialist batsmen on either team. Hopefully this series opened some peoples eyes and they can finally see Babar is not cut out for test cricket...yet.

People are being unfair on Asad. Our only batsman to score 100. Most runs scored, highest average. And while he didn't close out the match, he wasn't the one who got out first, was Sarfraz.

Ratings
Shan- 2
Aslam- 2
Babar-1
Azhar- 7 (didn't go on and make a century to win us matches)
Haris- 8.5 (did very well for someone returning with bat and ball)
Asad- 8 (yes did poor in the other innings, but was the only one to walk away with a hundred/great innings under his belt)
Sarfraz-4 (perhaps the most irritating of the batsmen, just threw his wicket constantly)

Amir-2 poor, expected better
Hasan Ali- 4 showed promise
Riaz- 8.5
Abbas- 8.5
Yasir- 9 comfortably our best player

I'll give 10 to Yasir. Bowled his heart out without complaint. This guy will get completely burnt out unless you start managing his workload a little better

Yasir should be 10 out of 10. Nothing more expected of him.

When will PPers give him 10? When he gets 10 wickets in every innings for 0 runs?

Shan Masood: 0
Sami Aslam: 2
Azhar Ali: 6
Haris Sohail: 9
Asad Shafiq: 6
Babar Azam: 0
Sarfraz Ahmed: 6
Mohammad Amir: 0
Yasir Shah: 10
Wahab Riaz: 9
Mohammad Abbas: 4

Sami - 2 (failed in both 2nd innings on fundamental target for opener - see through opening pair)
Masood- 2.5 (At least got a 50 & batted for long in 2nd chase. Besides, he fields well)
Azhar - 4 (Came down to 3 as teams best batsman & did exactly opposite to what best batsman should do - release pressure, he actually added with it. Would have got 6 for identical scores from opening position; 5 - if it was from No. 4)
Haris - 8 (Could have got 9, but for the failure of last innings)
Babar- 0.5 (could have got 1.5, but the way he got dismissed in both 1st innings, deserves some discounts)
Shafiq - 5 (Surprisingly high because he covered a tactical blunder some what - with ball)
Sarfraz - 2.5 (could have got 4, but for the shot on 5th morning & coming at 7, after telling that he should have come earlier in previous chase!!!)
Yasir - 8.5 (guy should have got 10, even if it was 1-1; he was carrying 2.5 men load)
Amir - 0 (absolute wastage of a spot - didn't even add much with bat & got injured midway of a Test, where his Coach/Captain went with 4 bowlers. I am sure he wasn't full fit, and he himself knew that, bowled within himself until it became unmanageable. Alarming trend, needs to be talked to 1 on 1)
Abbas - 4 (worthless stats, which made him look better)

Hasan - 6.5 (guy has fire inside, added 50 with Haris & actually attacked the Lankan bowlers, with his limited capacity, bowled well)
Wahab - 6 (bowled tight & brought the Test in to life)
