Most wins for Pakistan in ICC knockout matches (CT, WC, T20WC, WTC):

Looking back we were quite lucky to have 3 solid ODI players in Afridi, Malik and Razzler all capable of singlehandedly winning games (Malik a little conditions dependent) at the same time.

Interesting stat.

Can you do the same analysis for Bharat.

This stat really means nothing.

You have to consider the whole icc tournament not just 1 or 2 matches

What choked he is 38 years old, scoring 70 odd runs in the final of a icc event against a good opposition, he has done his job for the team, if he had to do all the batting than what is the purpose of other batsman in the team, cricket is a team game, if you see the champions trophy 2025 stats of India everyone in the team contributed with the bat or ball whoever it may be, only team work wins you big icc tournaments.

He started well then as soon as pressure built up he got stumped. He couldn't ride it out. Hallmark of Rohit career.

This point I have been making for years...we used to have top tier all rounders like the Razzler and Boom Boom....then the 2nd tier that is Malik and Professor...but in the last few years we've had the like of Chacha and HappyHeart (the latter who only has started to improve) who have never put in a critical performance when it has counted...

Razzler was incredible. Afridi I thought was overrated in his time but compared to the clowns we have now he was Gary Sobers. Even now he can hit better than some of the current players. Malik and Hafeez were a bit too conditions dependent for my liking but at least in Asia they were invaluable.

What matters their is a win for india which secured the trophy for us, ifs and buts don't matter, problem for pakistan former players & fans is they find mistakes in everything be it a pakistan player or Indian or any other.

To get an accurate picture, it'd be helpful to know how many knockout games they played

Are you serious? If Rizbabar had scored a winning 70 in CT final we would never hear the end of it.

On topic, All rounders will always feature and contribute a lot to such wins, from Irfan Pathan to Kapil to Pandya, Jadeja, etc we have a lot of all rounders too who have high knock out stats. A pure batsman or a bowler has only one inning and one chance, an all rounder gets two chances per match to contribute
