There’s a difference between slow pitch and spin pitch. Dubai was slow with spin. This pitch is just spin.

Saud Shakeel is a promising Test batter, no doubt. But to claim he’s the only one worthy of gratitude because of a 50+ average ignores the broader picture.

What's the bigger picture? He scored a match-winning century against England in the deciding test match of the series last year. Scored a double ton in Sri Lanka. Scored 84 against South Africa this year on a very tough pitch. Need I mention that he has played just 19 tests in his career so far..

Agreed. Saud was clearly nervous as it was last over before tea which is surprising for a batsman of his quality.

Babar on the other has huge technical issue against spin especially when he's defending. He must learn from someone like Younis Khan who never put his pad in line of the ball when defending.
Babar in tests against spin is too preoccupied with technique. He needs to free up and be a stroke maker that he can be.
