According to our esteemed Minister of Science & Technology, Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) sent the Hubble Telescope to space.

This is Naya Pakistan and these are the ministers who are going to drive this country forward and bring tabdeeli.

Our Kaptaan thinks that a man who believes that the Hubble Telescope was actually sent into space by Pakistan is going to deliver as the Minister of Science & Technology.

What next? Is he going to claim that the Earth is flat or perhaps President Yahya Khan was the first man to land on Moon in 1969?

Or maybe, this is just another "slip of tongue"?

For those who don't know, Hubble was launched by NASA/ESA in 1990. It cost over a billion dollars and has captured some of the most iconic and memorable images of space.

I wonder why PTI tongues are so slippery these days. They goof-up every time they open their mouth.

It is actually very disingenuous to dismiss this as a slip of tongue. He is just a massive duffer who should not be within a thousand miles of this ministry.

In fact, his wonderful statement of sighting the moon with a space telescope alone renders him as one of the biggest fools of all time.

Appointing him as the Minister of Science and Technology is a slap in the face of PTI supporters. It is a complete mockery of PTI’s tall claims of meritocracy and the notion that they will do things differently compared to the previous governments.

I don't know if he is the best choice, I doubt there are Superstar candidates in PTI to take over the Science Ministry. But to give more context for this situation, In Pakistan their is a committee run by Mullahs to determine if the Moon has been sighted for Ramzaan. The Mullahs don't do it for free, they take tax payer money, and they mess it up every year, which is why Pakistan has 2 Eid's. He suggested forming a committee of Meteorologist and Astronomers to decide if the Moon has been sighted. I dont think hes wrong in this regards, and to take this issue, and focus on Hubble is just a cheap attempt by the OP to take a political jab at Imran Khan.
