Use this thread specifically for discussion about broadcast of PSL and which channels will show it.

So the PCB decide to give UK 44 and A Plus Europe the rights for PSL last minute but they had already agreed a 3 year contract with Prime TV last year. Prime TV have sent a legal notice now. :))

There might not be anyone broadcasting it in the UK if this isn't resolved.

PCB had sold international rights for three years to TechFront. So it's TechFront they should sue, not PCB.

What sky number is that?

We've received confirmation that A Plus UK & UK 44 are the designated broadcasters for the UK.

Would be so good if they get a contract with ITV like IPL had with them.

StarSat for South Africa has exclusive for South Africa

so no broadcast in India again?

sorry dude but it looks like there are certain "adminsitrators" who dont want to give the PSL access to the Indian market. Even if it cant compete against the IPL.

Personally i think they are missing a trick as it could enhance IPL viewership by being seen as a precursor to the main event...but alas..

Are the broadcasters planning on telecasting the games in India?? Haven't watched psl last time. Should be a good competition.

Who is broadcaster in USA? - Willow or ESPN? - There is nobody else who shows cricket over here

A plus Europe Showing PSL Logo Now

MIGHT AGAIN BE cricketgateway again or psl youtube..... im waiting for someone to confirm, also..

Looks like it is cricketgateway in US and Canada. I can see the schedule for 2017 in the App right now!!

Four UK broadcasters confirmed to air PSL 2017

In a first for cricket telecast in the UK, it has been confirmed that multiple Pakistani channels will air this year’s Pakistan Super League (PSL), starting next week.

The lucrative tournament, which made a tremendous start last year, will be attracting even more eyeballs this year when it is broadcast on Prime TV, A Plus Europe, UK 44 and Geo TV. Prime TV continue televising the series this year and next year. In addition to this, the newly launched channels A Plus Europe and UK 44, along with popular service, Geo TV, will also show PSL 2017. All four channels will simulcast and air all the matches in the entire tournament.

Really poor that even the organisers are unable to distribute or announce a list of the broadcasters.

So 4 channels showing it in the UK but still won't be able to watch it because none are on Virgin Media :))

Probably not. But you can watch on cricketgateway.com. If it works in India.

5 dollars ?

They increased it this year, it was 5 dollars last year now it is 10. I'd still pay it but if the trend continues then they would lose me as a customer, and I'm sure alot of other people have the same opinion.

Yes its cricketgateway for the USA. The cost is $10 for the whole tournament.

Neither ESPN3 nor Willow will be broadcasting it (they didnt last year either). ESPN is streaming useless stuff like the Caribbean Super50 Regional though.

I agree. I'll be paying it again this year but I dont want this upward trend to continue.

Can any informed poster shed some light on how much the streaming in cricket-gateway going to cost for indian viewers , are they meant for all the matches or only for the semis and the finals?

Last year, I didn't enjoy Prime's coverage of the PSL because it was lagging behind by a ball or two, so nice to see 3 alternatives this time around.

Hopefully, one of these guys are better and do the job right.

Its supposed to be for all games including the playoffs and final. To quote their website:
"FULL SEASON PASS | 9.99 USD

Watch every PSL live match including Playoff and final access Feb 9th to Mar 5th 2017."

Hopefully this is accurate and they dont try to change things later to charge separately for those games.

And still no official confirmation.

Also strange that no official broadcast partner in India.

That's what they did last season. Group stages were free, then final stages cost $5.

pcb missing out big time here .. there's no any interesting schedule for indian fans as india is playing against minnow for only test.. and after that against aussies that too test which means people will be interested to watch t20s. psl time is perfect this time.. pcb must do something to broadcast in India... if they really want to grow psl. india is cricket hungry nation.
and i hope this time pitches will be better then last time

Yeah I agree they have to broadcast it in India even if it means selling the rights to broadcast the psl at a much lower price then normal.

Just wana know how much data it ll consume if i watch one t20 match at 320p? 😦

can any Indian poster confirm here (except J and K) that is there availability of PTV Sports on Cable network or any other network?

Cricket Gateway only charged $2 for 3 matches in PSL 1. The remaining 21 matches were free.

This year, they're charging $10 for 24 matches.

It really isn't that unreasonable.

Xbox one tv tuner doesn't work. I connected it successfully and dat but couldn't find ptv
