Pakistan went without Misbah Afridi and Shoaib Malik for the first time... that left a huge gap, you forgot Azhar Ali was the top scorer in the series for us :)

that series is still haunting pak in their ODI rankings... the biggest mistake by PCB to change the batting order completely.. Malik was never in the side before can count him but after MISBAH and AFRIDI left they dropped Maqsood, shehzad and UA .. field completely new batting order with a captain coming from MARS who was never in the squad for 3 years and not gave any promising prospect as an LOI player when given chances...

You have it all wrong. The umpire's call has been weakened. But only on the outside of the stumps, not the bails. The two umpire's call decisions have both been based on the (unchanged) rule relating to the bails.

The new DRS playing conditions relating to the LBW ‘Umpire’s Call” will also come into effect on 22 September, with the first match to be played under these regulations the ODI between South Africa and Ireland in Benoni on Sunday.

For a Not Out decision to be overturned, more than half the ball now has to be impacting the pad within a zone bordered by the outside of off and leg stumps (formerly the centre of off and leg stumps), and the ball needs to be hitting the stumps within a zone bordered by the outside of off and leg stumps and the bottom of the bails (formerly the centre of off and leg stumps, and the bottom of the bails).

This darting won't work in middle overs to better sides. One is fine as allrounder, but two left arm spinner is not the ideal choice. PAK must play Yasir in next match & use him as a wicket taker.

True, not 2 left arm spinners but 4 left arm bowlers is just too much. Need another right armer in there ASAP.
 
Choke mode is fully on, now even rizwan is dropping catches, wth, but so far only those have dropped catches who shouldn't be in the team in the first place, may be a divine signal, or mere co-incidence?

So the captain's performance didn't impress you in that game? Your hypocrisy is on show because you are never happy with anything :)
secondly Bangladesh gave big teams like NZ and SA a tough time on their home turf so it was not that humbling if you consider it..

with azhar and misbah this will never happen in an LOI....just like how azhar just stopped hasan ali who is rattling WI asking questions with his variations...these are the captains who let he oppositions to claw back and defeat pak from the jaws of victory..

thats common sense,, you dont wana be bowling death overs with spinners :)
 
Imad is the better batsmen but Nawaz is the better bowler.

Not sure who we would play out of these two if we were to accomodate for another spinner.
 
Pakistan has been very sloppy in field today. Poor fielding and bowling.
 
This should be Azhar's last match as captain if we manage to lose thiss
 
PAK will win this by at least 60 margin - but the fielding, catching & bowling changes are not good today.
 
The management may punish Rizwan for his dropped catch, plus the media pressure to pick Akmal, so Rizwan may be the scapegoat for the last ODI, and an ill disciplined player will yet again become part of the team for some years, it was so good watching our team without the controversial players, we have to bear them now again.
 
So pacers can bowl 13 of the remaining 14. Let's see if our fazul captain continues to bowl spinners or does what is needed.

Imad's sample size only strengthens my point. Even 29 games is a pretty good sample to conclude that Imad is better then Nawaz at the moment as a batsman. Bowling I'll concede, Nawaz is superior and will be likely more effective then Imad in test cricket and even ODIs against better teams.

But given Pak's struggles with the bat, Imad will likely be favored in LOIs over Nawaz.

yes samuels dropped at 18 and 35 ... if he keeps scoring then this match is done... foolish azhar ali stopped hasan ali's rhythm and now bringing back..

Nawaz is a better batsman in List A cricket.
 
Despite 2 run outs of the 3 wicket, WI is almost there & they have the most explosive bottom half.
 
Hasan should be saved for the death. Right now, Amir and Nawaz should be bowling.
 
Wahab has been bowling well .. He should just focus on bowling fast . . everytime he tries to focus on line and length, he goes off
 
Bachat hogayi Azhar ki.. he had tried his best to lose this match

wahab has been bowling for a few overs , he didnt bring back...he has to bring him because he bowled only 3 overs back then....

yes, he stopped the rhythm when he made a good runout to get rid of in-form bravo and got a chance to dismiss samuels in the same over dropped catch... and now bring back when samuels got well set...
 
I hope Azhar realizes he still needs one over from a spinner. As we know he has made this mistake in the past and a spinner was bowling the last over.
 
Azhar better not waste another over from Hasan. We need him at the death. Already in his 8th over.
