Sample this, Hazlewood runs in to ball his 2nd delivery to Babar in the World Cup Semi-final. Hazy pitch it up outside off and allow it swing bit late. swing it did but Babar response would have gladdened hearts of both a surgeon and a poet.

He stood still, his blade met the ball bit late to cover the swing, timing took the ball rollicking towards boundary though he hardly seems to have hit it. You watch it from as many angle as their are in 360 degree the word will always be "Gorgeous" That shot alone is worth the price of your ticket go and watch it in the loop.

Not done yet. Shaheen is getting ready to bowl his first over. The whole world wait with baited breath because every delivery will be an event. He will ball full and fast and it will swing in late. How little difference does it make for the batsmen facing him, you simply can't.

Finch got a beauty first up and Marsh got lucky. You might be the best in the world but you are not even in the contest here Just pray and survive
because that's the best you can do.

How I wish that Babar has not followed the set template of using Imad upfront and used likes of Hafeez because Aussies were gasping for breath.
This is blockbuster stuff. Close to 167 Millions Viewers who watch the most Anticipated India vs Pakistan encounter will nod in agreement.

If there is a team which has benefitted most from this World Cup it has to be Pakistan. They were the show stoppers of world cricket in this mega event. Broadcasters and sponsors world over will certainly look at Pakistan with a new found respect. Mid tournament development confirms that with Two Powerful Boards of England and Australia will tour Pakistan
and I wouldn't be surprised more will follow.

There are Two World cup on the Horizon next consecutive years and this is Pakistan big opportunity to firmly establish itself as one of the powerhouse in the world cricket. In Rameez raja they finally seems to have a right guy at the helm of the affairs who is in perfect sync with Modern Cricket and backchannel diplomacy.

Pakistan will rue the wonderful opportunity to lift the trophy. In all honesty they were very good but not best. My scramble brain could see it the gaping holes primarily the "Safety first" outdated approach. Listen to
the World Champ Skipper to understand mindset required for this game

"We are really, really committed to staying positive and aggressive against spin, and that showed tonight. I thought the way Mitch [Marsh] and Davey played against New Zealand - Shadab [Khan] got four-for in the semi-final but we kept attacking.

"We were so committed to that throughout the tournament. We were comfortable to be able to fail being aggressive because we know that that's when we play our best. I think if you go home and you don't make the semis or you don't make the final, you're kicking yourself if you're an Australian team and you play in your shell. So that was a real positive for us."

Pakistan and all other teams take not "Policy of not taking risk is the riskiest policy in t20"

Going further, I would like to see this Champion mentality. England has shown the world how its done it's Pakistan chance to leap forward using this event as a fantastic launch pad. Babar' Captaincy and Management thinking also need a refresher. Pakistan should be ready to experiment and be flexible let the personal milestones go over team development.

They now have a solid base and it's time to start fixing those ailing issues
like Developing a sold middle order, relook at the opening pair and find
another wicket taking spinner to aid Shahdab. Invest in youth create a solid bench strength and don't hesitate in experimenting.

Pakistan can ill afford to waste this golden opportunity to jump from the fringe and be the "Fourth Pillor" of world cricket. They would be terribly disappointed to miss out Winning a major Trophy but they have done enough for the whole world to take notice. It will be up to them now whether they would be content with grabbing eyeballs or do they really have it in them to be the best.

Let it start with a change in the mindset, rest will follow.

I don't know about "4th pillar" but Pakistan were certainly the team to watch this tournament.

There are tweaks that can be made -
Hafeez and Malik should be replaced, Pakistan need a middle order hitter and a spin bowling all rounder who bats higher up than Shadab.

As great as the Rizam partnership is, they need a heavy hitter up front as hitting 6s changes the game. Either Zaman opens or someone else who is better as a hitter. Asif Ali probably needs to come higher up...which would help if Hafeez and Malik are gone.

The bowling unit looks terrific, they just need a better spinner as Imad is not much of a spinner and Shadab needs back up, maybe the Usman Qadir I watched in the PSL.
