I think we lost to them in ane do series.if i remembered correctly then hafeez won that match for Pakistan

Mashallah. Pak were the most dominant team in the format for first 5-7 years

No team has played any T20 matches, or as many T20 matches against weakened opposition as Pakistan.

Moreover, no team plays its first-choice XI in T20s as consistently as Pakistan.

When you put it into context, this is not a significant achievement at all.

Pakistan has been a mediocre T20I side since 2010-11.

Gul, Ajmal, peak Afridi, young Umar Akmal, Kamran, Razzaq, Malik etc.

This was the last good group of T20 cricketers that we had. That is why our performances over the last two WT20s have been appalling.

India never took T20 format seriously, always using as an experiment platform.
Recently we started playing more T20 matches.

Pakistan had a excellent T20 team when the format first started. They had specialist players who were amongst the best in the world.

Today they have a decent side, but have work to do to be able to restrict oppositions. The introduction of T20 leagues also hindered their progress.

Basically, top teams play T20 to check their bench strength unless it's a Wt20 but Pakistan normally play their full-strength team in these useless bilaterals, this was the reason Pakistan won 11 or 12 T20 series without any series defeat under Sarfraz.

India has surpassed Pakistan in the number of T20I victories.

A truly deserved team to be on top in my opinion!

It's a joke that this is considered an achievement. Move over Jamodi, it's now More Aimless T20 (MAT)

Pakistan is the only full member team to never lose a T20I match after scoring 200 runs, whether batting first or second.

Pakistan holds the record for successfully defending totals of 150 or less the most times in T20I history.

Is not frequently scoring 200 runs really a problem?

Yes. Because the game has changed and is changing. You can't defend 150 that often these days. That's also why majority of those 18 wins came in during the era of Afridi - Ajmal - Gul and Sarfraz on UAE pitches.

Everything has changed now since Babar joined Peshawar Zalmi as captain and proved Imad was a rubbish captain without Babar as a player. This generation of Babar, Rizwan and Shaheen is the best era of T20 cricket for Pakistan

A fit and firing shaheen is the greatest Pakistani fast bowler barring imran Khan and wasim akram.

He's superior to Gull and waqar easily.

They have been sending C team D for the last 5 or 6 years for bilaterals. Real world events have different stat.

Against the top teams only twice teams could not defend 200 plus in ICC world T20 and Asia cup.

1) 2007 SA vs WI . SA chased down 206 in first world T20.
2) 2016 England chased 229 against SA.

85 other times in World T20/Asia cup teams successfully defended 200 plus totals. If you score 200 you are more likely to win. But a big but given the mindset of players these days on a road no total may be safe in the coming world cups. Let us see how the pitch plays out. I have never watched even a single CPL. So I don't know how the chasing/defending ratio there.
