This tour should have been arranged as earlier as possible but ofcourse Bangaldesh is busy in sri lanka so Pakistan has to wait whole another month for the next match...

As per reports, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan are set to miss this series...so will it be good for the PCT?
I know Shaheen will be back for Asia Cup. This series by Hesson is being tried to test other options.

I don't mind seniors being rested in this series.

Though I do think that Shaheen needs to play the West Indies series which is just before the Asia Cup.

I'm surprisingly looking forward to this. Hesson has been a breath of fresh air with his quiet, meticulous nature. Agha's improved as a T20 batter and have liked his captaincy so far.

Although it was against a weak Bangladesh side, we won a bilateral T20 series after what felt like an eternity. Hopefully it'll be a tougher test playing away from home in conditions that may be similar to what we'll get at the T20 World Cup next year.

Looking forward to the WI series more, which is around the same time I think

Bro bangladesh might opt for spinning tracks in t20 you know they always do with their pitches good test it will be for pakistan though.
Right now, Bangladesh has one of the worst T20 teams in the world. I don't think pitches will matter that much. They will have to bat on the same pitches against Pakistan's spinners too.

I doubt so. All the matches are in Dhaka and its avg score is 160 .few times bng won even with 150s against eng.if the pitches are rolled again like that, its a waste of time for pak atleast. In Lanka, we had quite a few high scores

Bangladesh beat Australia 4-1, NZ 3-2, and England 3-0 on those dustbowl Mirpur pitches (T20 series).

I wish they should improve those pitches as dustbowl is not good for T20. Also, it doesn't prepare BD when they play abroad.

Not the side you want to be playing so often.

Difficult to gauge how good you are as a team when playing BD nowadays.

The trophy should be named after Chinese President Xi Jinping.

A fitting tribute to two proud vassal states of the Chinese empire.

Why no Test Cricket?? we ended at the bottom # 9 in the last cycle. How are we going to improve by NOT playing test cricket altogether?

Pakistan-Bangladesh to contest three-match T20I series from Sunday

Pakistan and Bangladesh will lock horns in a three-match T20I series beginning on Sunday, 20 May with the remaining two games to be staged on 22 and 24 May at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. All matches are set to begin at 5pm PKT with the toss to take place at 4.30pm.

Pakistan are visiting Bangladesh for the first time since December 2021 as they arrived in the country on Wednesday, 16 July after taking part in an extensive training camp in Karachi. Salman Ali Agha, who has so far led Pakistan in 12 T20Is, will marshal the side in fourth T20I series.

Pace duo of Ahmed Daniyal and Mohammad Salman Mirza are the two uncapped players in Pakistan’s squad and will be in line to make their international debuts during the series.

Earlier, Pakistan had white-washed Bangladesh in a home three-match T20I series bagging 37-run, 57-run and seven-wicket wins at the Gaddafi Stadium in May and June. Litton Das-led Bangladesh will take the field on the back of an away 2-1 T20I series triumph over Sri Lanka last week.

The overall T20I record between Pakistan and Bangladesh depicts the former’s domination as they have won 19 out of 22 T20Is since the first clash between both sides in September 2007 in Nairobi.

Pakistan T20I captain, Salman Ali Agha:

“We have changed the way we want to play but knowing the conditions is going to be the key. If the conditions allow us to play aggressively then we’ll surely play that way and in other case we’ll go accordingly. In our training we have tried to make sure that we experience match-like situations in order to get game ready.

“Bangladesh are a tough opposition especially in their home conditions. We know what the challenges are going to be thrown at us and we are very excited to play here.”

Pakistan T20I squad:

Salman Ali Agha (captain), Abrar Ahmed, Ahmed Daniyal, Faheem Ashraf, Fakhar Zaman, Hassan Nawaz, Hussain Talat, Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Abbas Afridi, Mohammad Haris (wk), Mohammad Nawaz, Sahibzada Farhan (wk), Saim Ayub, Salman Mirza and Sufyan Moqim
