Maqsood is clearly playing for his place.

I was a toddler in the 90s. First Indo-Pak i fully remember was WC 2003. And since then you have been superior.
Any score cardsI seriously started around 1998.
1996-97 was a bit blurry.
Sharjah was a nightmare.
Still remember.
You guys would bat first. Anwar would torture our trundlers and spinners.
You would post 250-300. Sometimes 230.
When we would bat, Wasim, Waqar and Akhtar would bowl. Followed by Azhar Mahmood and Saqlain.
Our batsman would keep trying to smash the ball but it won't pass the inner circle.
You guys would eventually get our top and middle order out.
90-100 for 5.
And then Ajay Jadeja or Robin Singh or someone would play some innings and slowly drag the match to its inevitable end.
Always phainty.

How bad were India in the 90s. Would you say your team was better than ours now.I seriously started around 1998.

Idk i dont know about your 90s team. Apart from the fact that Sachin used to carry youAny Doubts ?![]()
Maqsood needs to stay till the end.
i feel he is gonna throw his wicket away now
I see, sweet. Thanks for taking the time to find the scorecards matePB - The overall record in the 90's between India Pakistan doesn't look too bad. Pak won 26 games and India won 17. But watching games would tell you how superior Pak were.

Just like after 2004, Pak holds a 20-20 record against us but we have been clearly much better. But the gap was much bigger in the 90's of course.
Stats don't do full justice.
I don't know about others, to me Aamir Sohail is miles ahead of Ramiz when it comes to a sensible commentary. Ramiz is just a show boy for me ...

Agree Amir Sohail is the best commentator we have in Pakistan. He is emotional & unlike Rameez he doesn't kiss other commentators. Miss his commentary and analysis a very sensible guy.
Stats don't do justice to the difference.
After 2004, Pak and India have a 20-20 head to head record.
Are both the teams equal now?
