Good advice from Chappelli on keeping - "don't ever assume that the batsman will hit the ball, assume the bat is not there and that you will always be taking the ball"

No way.

Pakistan are doing their worst. And plus, they picked Misbah over Fawad.Asif in because they want to test his fitness.Means taking this match lightly.

Ok Pakistan are trying to lose the match then.

Why don't they just make 100 all out then?

You are good poster but this idea is bakwaas, hai.

this is so freaking shitty.. I am gonna avoid work to avoid the embarrasnment.. 2 runs in the second last overs

Good to see 3 Ozzies in the top 10 fastest balls bowled int he tournament, with Pelt and MJ at 1 and 3.

lol .. haven't even reached 200 with 5 wickets in hand !! Indians must be pissed.

*** was that from Twatson??? Full toss we dont need that :po:

Yup exactly I mean I expected him to come in and hit every single ball (bowled at 90mph mind you) out of the stadium. Some posters...

maybe it is not possible to score 300+ on every pitch you bat on?

let's see how the Aussie chase shapes up? before you guys start accusing YOUR OWN PLAYERS for deliberately losing a match.

Exactly what I have been thinking. We need to see both sides perform before we can start putting our team down for their performance.

Every batsmenn need to get inn before playing shorts. He came for 4 overs ago ? He is not "hitter" but a good batsmenn

IMO the light isn't great either, so the batsmen are struggling to go for their shots. Moyo and Misbah took this into consideration and went the safe route, rather than risk throwing their wicket away with this disadvantage

Or, maybe they just don't give a crap today

I see why you're irked RA. We've played pretty rubbish, pure and simple. But ! I reserve any judgement until after we bowl.

Need to look to push singles at least at any opportunity.

Ian Chappell giving the Pak batsmen a spray for only scoring 23 runs so far in the batting powerplay :))

if they are batting horridly on purposely what makes you think our bowlers will come and do great.. watch for gul and asif to bowl under hand and give the match away in 10 overs.. i will be surprised to see a pitch over 80 mph

Hahaha...I'm not gonna argue with you now!:p
That last two words and "Indians phir ro rahe hain"(a few days ago) are epic :D

If I had to venture a guess it's because our bowlers aren't getting much credit lol.

two boundaries in batting power play by Pak....none any thing to do with batting skills

What a legend!!!

Thou shall be remembered for funny ways of getting out oh MR. Misbah!

LOL what a woeful way to go, trod on your wicket :)))

This place will be funny if Pakistan go on to win this match.

Win or no win this is just frustratingly painful to watch.

First YK bore's the pants off of me now Misbah.

And the silly fool treads on his stumps.

Serves him right.

And Ian Chappell says "well that's one way to help the score towards 200" :))

Pathetic...We are atleast 30-40 runs short of a competitive score...and Dhoni was going to field a team based on the first innings of this match..He better not field one.

Commentators keep calling this a "strange innings" from Palistan. They know exactly what is going on - everybody knows. And whatever their motive, it is match-fixing pure and simple.

Many will say we miss Afridi/Razzaq down the order.

Some will question the 3rd PP/Misbah and Yousuf.

If Austrailia knock this out in under 45 then the above may be true - I'll give the benefit of the doubt to the pitch/batsmen - on another day this might have been all out for 139!

what crap performance.. i dont expect any pakistan bowler to less then 4 runs an over.. Australia have an easy target.. didnt whatch watch all of it but was the bowling that good? or did we just take our time with the batting..

We can can still win but some early wickets and tight overs are needed badly.

Pitch is uneven and on the slow side. Rana's slower deliveries will be lethal if he gets them right

Does get annoying Poison, yes batters could have done better but we are not hacks at the game of cricket either and Pakistan have scored 200 on a tough pitch.

If they wanted to lose on purpose they could have lost by now.

My guess is maybe 20 runs too few though.

I would not rule this out.

205-6 from 50

As I said before it's Australia's game to lose , but we still have a game. Don't lose all hope India.

OK when did playing POSITIVE equate to scoring 300 on every wicket.

And when did criticizing tactics become ''accussing YOUR PLAYERS for deliberately losing a match''?

Think before you post.

mate I am talking about the general innuendo that Pakistan is pushing out India on purpose and you are the one who quoted me.

As i said before, let's wait for the Aussie chase to see what kind of a pitch THIS REALLY IS.

And please dont take cheap shots at me, let's keep the dialogue within the borders of the ongoing match.

agree pakistan have setteled for 2nd position so they can take on New Zealand.. and kick India out.. but you never know.. its just the way they batted.. no aggression by the looks of it

you have to admit the aussies fielded and bowled extremely well, only 5 extras. younis, yousuf and misbah arent particularly in form men, and a batting side should have done better, but cant take it away from the aussies.

If India had won their Aussie match, we would have been outta this tournament today.

There is a mystery I have doubts that it is match fixing, but I am not complaining, when you cant score nobody can blame you. I am sure Misbah and Yusuf played their natural game ;-) ;-)

About 50 runs short.

Aus bowlers did well.

The pitch has some variable bounce in it and slow as well.
