I have to say this, these young guns are really a treat to watch. You have to give it to Misbah who has been playing under so much pressure. I was one of the people to critisize on his selection but he has proven everyone wrong. All I wonder is where has he been for the last 5 years. Man this is good. Hats off to him for hi special play specially against Aussies.

Last but not the least, Malik has been the back bone of this Pakistan batting line up. He is the type of player who would take this team on his shoulders and take them to the promise land. His captaincy is really goo. Good bowling changes. good field placement and SUPERB batting. All I can say is that this guy is the future of Pakistan. He has been doing what Mahela Jayawardene, Ricky Ponting, Graeme Smith has done for their respective teams. This team actually gives it all for their captain and the credit goes to him for defining their roles in the team.

I say this is probably one of the best teams Pakistan has ever had in terms of team play. They play for each other, give up their bodies on the field. Pour out their hearts for each other. They are high fiving, smiling laughing and most importantly having fun on the field which has been missing from previous Pakistan teams.

I hate to say this but job well done by PCB for picking up a good core of players who are willing to play hard and together for the team.

Hopefully, this team will win this WC and redeem their failure in WC earlier Inshallah.

Well said. I also questioned Misbah selection over Yousaf but my objection is his late selection at the age of 33 years, which mean he could do well for pakistan for a short period as compared to many legendry players like Miandad, Inziman who served pakistan for 15+ years. Therefore, in Misbah case he may do well for Pakistan for 3-4 years but then they will have to search for another replacement.

Having said all this, I always thought he should be promoted up the order, and today thats what they did. They should have kept Butt out of the team, and sent Younis as one down, Malik and Misbah to follow and then Afridi, Fawad and Akmal, because in previous games, they didnt let Misbah play his natural game. He got excellent hitting abilities and his longest six of the comptetion (111m) testify for it.
