Yeah. I don't think BD batsmen are much worried about Amir. This Shaheen guy is causing them problems.

Shaheen is just 19. He has great future hopefully.
 
Beautiful bowling. Shaheen finding the right length for English conditions has made all the difference in our last three games.

Amir is still great support for Shaheen with the low economy rate. They back each other well until our farttain decides to bowl Hafeez with the new ball :ma

While bowling two fast bowlers pressure should be there from both sides to take a wicket.

Unfortunately Hassan Ali failed to apply pressure from his side in most matches costing us this world cup.
 
Wouldn't be surprised if Shaheen got a county contract. He has found the length to bowl in English conditions. Impressive stuff from a 19 year old.

PP experts for you. Shaheen has yo perform every game but some of the passengers are fine if they perform once in 2 years.
 
I think in this WC the baton has been passed from Amir to Shaheen. I always thought he will do wonders, due to his height and being young. Good thing is we now have two permanent pacers in Amir/Shaheen. Wahab may stick for couple more years and hopefully Hasnain will fill the void. I never liked Hasan and I be happy if he is forever 12th man or 15th man.
 
Would be great if the likes of Shaeen , Babar , and Imam got county contracts. I don't want them to play the T20 stuff. Wod rather they played the county championship. This would really help their development.

Exactly. Shaheen was struggling in England series and there was no support for him .Experience of amir is helping shaheen

With young players you have to give them time to settle. Shaheen has hardly played any domestic cricket. So the form he had during the England series was always going to happen. But he had turned it around. Shows he is a quick learner and is willing to learn.

I think he has learned about the lengths to bowl in England very quickly. Even in those games when he was going for runs he was still picking up wickets, a lot more than any of our fast bowlers
 
i think shakib should get player of the tournament. even though few games left. He has taken 11 wickets we well.

Yup that trent bridge bowling was superb which did not justify his match figure .he was bouncing out england with sheer pace

The missing piece of the jigsaw is a right arm pacer who can swing the new ball.

Exactly youngsters should be given enough chances specially when they are talented like shaheen.
 
By upsetting BD today, Pakistan have shown some real grit and ability . Not all hope is lost, Pakistani fans. This might be the beginning of another Golden era of Pakistan cricket.

Look at the biased view of cricinfo, previous world cups had minnows but this world cup has none. :)))
When asked if afg is a minnow or not they replied by saying "no" :)))
The team which has lost 9 matches in a row is not a minnow but the teams in previous editions were.

3 were in 2015 mate. 3 OUT OF THE 4.
I used to think they'd beaten pak like 7-8 times in a row. :)))
They've only beaten us four times and 3 out of those 4 being in 2015.

People really like clutching at straws.

Pakistan have one of the best Head to head record in odi cricket history against bd .better than india no wonder why he is so hurt

Upset? Lets not get ahead of ourselves here. Pakistan had an unbeaten run of almost 50 matches against BD. You can say BD winning 4 times in a row against Pakistan is 4 upsets in a row.

The same season they beat India as well. It was bit of a purple patch for BD.

This is an embarrassing performance by Bangladesh.

For all the progress they make, it's a fact that they have players who have four WCs worth of experience. They're still going home with 3 wins and a couple of thrashings :facepalm:

Pak has dropped 5 catches today and Bangladesh is still losing. That’s how bad Bangladesh have played
 
Whoever the fielding coach is he needs to be fired before tomorrow.
 
Playing Hassan Ali has cost us. Shocking bowler who who should only be kept for T20s and nowhere near the 50 over team or test
