We have been cruising many times and lost.

Unfortunately Umar doesn't have the brains to play long and even if he got a quick 30-40 would have lost a wicket and put other guys under pressure. Better to ease to a victory and get the main batsmen's confidences high, instead of a slogger.

Yea, I guess we should agree to disagree. Personally, I don't think we would have been in trouble even if he had gotten out early (which I don't think he would have).

I think, when you are struggling for form, best thing is to wait at dressing room & not to bat. Don't think coming after 120 runs opening partnership, mastering this Irish attack 'll help Umar or anyone get some confidence against those Aussies.
