Thats pretty heavy food for a sportsmen ... they should instead send it this way! :D

Hopefully Younis gets his 50 before lunch ... it will help him digest the food much better!

just a four man give them a shot so you can eat in the lunch pause

watching all that food made me hungry...now i have to go see if there is something to eat

1/79 off 29 overs in that session (2.72 RPO).

Two settled batsmen at the crease, but the job is far from done.

Run rate is too slow - need to take the attack to SL but I guess that will come somewhere near tea ... must avoid followon.

i could careless about run rate.... just loose one wicket per session and i'm happy

I think they're doing well with the run rate...Mendis is looking dangerous so it would be very difficult to score quickly against him..

Just hope that Younis stops trying those reverse sweeps!

run rate is important - to slow a rate will allow Mendis and Murli to attack with impunity...but then one more wicket and who knows what will happen !

I suppose down to Pakistani batsmen assessment of the pitch.

ZzZzzZzZZzZzzZZzzZZzzz .. can we blame the people of Karachi for not showing up for this ?

Well, we do need to keep the RR up, like I said before. We have 61 overs left in the day and our current RR is 2.41. Even if we were to assume that the RR will be 3.00 for the next 61 overs, that means we will only score 183 runs for in the next 61 overs. That means, tomorrow we will still be 338 runs behind. Not the situation we want to be in. Also, think about the wickets in hand. They need to keep the runs ticking, otherwise what's the point about playing even the whole of tomorrow but still having a BIG run deficit.
