whatever and however the pitch is pak should always try to score 300+ that will give them the intent to go attack the opposition bowlers even if it is a tough pitch they will end up with 275+ or 280+ eventually

World cup is a completely different scenario. Pakistan had Afridi too in the CWC remember(he was playing the WC?). Wahab was in real form.

Afridi was at his worst in the WC 2015. Wahab has always shown that form either under Sarfraz (T20s vs Eng and WI) or under Misbah(Tests vs Eng in UAE and UK). Do you still think this is a coincidence??

Exactly, just take the pitch out of the equation. Its not even that bad, its a flat track with not much turn. Don't think about par totals or 260 being enough to defend with our spinners.

Get into the mindset of targeting 285-300 now and make it a habit.

The game plan is clear, it's the same approach as always of keeping wickets in hand. The only difference is Sharjeel has the license to provide aggression. The rest of the top order is playing the same way they always do. Whether it was Babar or Azhar, both would be trying to hold one end while Sharjeel goes on attack.

The approach is working, we now have a good platform and sensible batting from here would see us near 300

Kamran is an old player, I won't call for his selection. Manzoor, yes, but Shehzad is above in the pecking order.

in 32 overs played, Pak has had 98 dot balls. Which amount to 16 overs....
If only the jokers can rotate the strike. even 3 singles in an over will amount to 50 mover runs.

Viv's commentary revolves around "individual" and "stuff" . .
 
This dismissal of Sarfaraz exemplifies that why this is not a 300 pitch . . and Pak has batted outstandingly to be in the position that they are in

less the target, more competitive the game is going to be from here... I don't wanna see another boring match tbh.

It's difficult to tell from their camera angles and quality. It could be a hair above the ground but appear as if it's touching. Because a frame forward, and the heel was actually ahead of the line. So it's difficult to tell. I think benefit of the doubt in this case should go to bowler i guess.
 
Azhar should take example of Sri Lankan player like Chandimal and let deserving player to take his spot and let us move forward!!!
