well his keeping has been below par of late and I still believe he shouldnt be opening.

I dont fancy the little man opening out in the west indies. Dont make rash decisions on the basis of what you lot are watching just now.

Hafeez seems to lack confidence of a player that has the abilty to make the opening spot his own.
 
Well you are right Kami may not be the solution. But Imran Farhat just not have temperament atall. He has to imrove that.
 
Kamran has opened in ODI cricket before and with success.....so people calling on him to open are not doing so just on the basis of what he has done now. The pitches in the West Indies will not be difficult pitches so there is no reason why he shouldn't open and that gives us room for an extra batsman down the order.
 
in the world cup.... i'd like to see Akmal open, only because the pitches will suit him

If Bob and Inzy want him to open in WI then he should open in SA as well. and Kamran is gone.
 
The way australia performed today..I think all the other teams shouldn't even worry about going to worldcup :). They were going over 10 runs per over in Test matches...lol

true, but personally, I don't think he'll do to well in SA, but we should still stick with him as i'm sure he'll do well on the Windies pitches

He has always looked solid since his come back into the team but has not made use of starts. Let's hope he goes on to make a big one today to shove his doubters up their backsides.
