Extremely smart call by Jamshed, has been a huge bright spot today - one of his most impressive knocks even though he hasn't scored much.

Pak shud try n get to 100/3 by the 27-28 overs...can add another 150 easily . Just can give a wicket at this stage

Sunny was expecting more thn 550 runs on this pitch...

both of these batsmen have got their eye in now...

they should look to take at least 4-5 singles every over from here on

What do you expect with Farhat and Asad in the top 3... This was always on the cards

You can see Jamshed a class above from the rest...

Misbah needs to do what hes good at now and hold this together to the end...

See of this new ball and roach and rampaul threat, runs will come later get to over 200 and should make a game out of it

Umar Amin needs to be injected for Farhat next game

DRS has nothing to do with purposely claiming false catches. By this logic, you can say as the game is being filmed you shouldn't expect anything less.

Yes exactly, DRS is their to remove any short coming the on-field umpire has. Whats the point of it if you still have to rely on players.

Man if Jamshed was anything like Inzi we'd be seeing him come down the pitch and lofting the spinner up for a huge six straight down the ground. It was always a pleasure watching Inzi do that and make it look like it involved no effort at all. What a player.

:hafeez :shafiq and :farhat needs batting lessons from :nasir

Sorry, not Farhat. Farhat needs batting lessons from any 10 year old in Pakistan and India, he is beyond help. Needs to learn most BASIC stuff first. Only in the team cause of his father-in-law being ex-selector. We have dozens of players in domestic with better records...

That's not DRS, these sort of decisions were checked before DRS' inception - point being you expect players be honest about grounded catches and past evidence shows that they often do.

Quite an interesting debate going on @ cricinfo, on whether a fielder should be allowed to move from his original position after the bowler has delivered the ball and before the batsman has played the shot.

Watch him release the ball, it doesn't look natural just very strange.

Yup,there is clearly a 'flick' before he releases the ball..Tho i assume its under 10 degrees as nobody seems to have an objection at it.

It is not considered in the spirit of the game, but i dont think any rule officially against it.
