So a final chance to see Abdullah Shafique in Pakistan colours?

How about other changes you would like to see in the Pakistan line-up for the final game of the tour?

Yea Abdullah in for Hafeez. And if fit, Shadab in for Wahab.

Fakhar, Babar*, Haider, Abdullah, Shadab, Khushdil, Faheem, Rizwan+, Hasnain, Qadir, Rauf

Haider,babar,abdullah,hafeez,rohail,khushdil,gohar,qadir,wahab,husnain,musa

I would give rohail, musa abdullah ,gohar all a chance but I dont expect more than 3 changes

1. Haider Ali
2. Babar Azam (c)
3. Abdullah Shafique
4. Khushdil Shah
5. Rohail Nazir (wk)
6. Imad Wasim/Faheem Ashraf
7. Zafar Gohar
8. Usman Qadir
9. Wahab Riaz
10. Haris Rauf
11. Muhammad Hasnain

I'd love to give Musa a shot but just see holes in his game.

I just want see Shafique get a game so I can see him. Excited after reading and seeing some of the national T20 scorecards

So, this game truly is the deadest of dead rubbers, against a minnow. There aren't any points at stake, and thus Misbah has no excuse not to truly experiment completely.

Thus I'd like to see the following happen:

1) Play Abdullah Shafique and open with him. Give him instructions that he needs to play his shots, but also carry his bat through the innings. Essentially ask him to play the Babar role, to see if Abdullah can be an opening option in ODIs (currently a problem position for Pak). He's wasted playing at 3, and Babar does not need to open the batting in a dead rubber.

2) Open with Haider and ask Shafique and Haider to get the team to between 60-70 runs in the powerplay.

3) Play Babar at 3. This is only for this match, to allow Abdullah having a chance at the top. It also gives Babar a new challenge to play aggressively from the off once he comes in.

4) Play Shadab as a batsmen at 4. It would be good to see how he does purely as a batter up the order at t20i level. Also allows for more bowling variety.

5) Khushdil at 5 is fine.

6) Rohail at 6 pls. Nothing about Rizwan playing at 6 for yet another game will teach us anything

7) Zafar at 7 pls. I think it's time the lad got his debut.

8) Qadir at 8. More opportunities to see how he's settling into international cricket.

9) Musa Khan at 9. A lot of people gave up on Musa after that last ODI, but there is an able cricketer in there, even if he may not be a long term solution. I'd like to see Pakistan experiment with him as a Pinch hitter to see how he does

10 and 11) Rauf and Hasnain, rinse and repeat.

What we absolutely do not need to see is Fahim Ashraf, Wahab or Hafeez in this game. Similarly Ifti and Fakhar have shown where they are at this point. Absolutely no harm in blooding youngsters in a no consequence game like this.

Also, pls if u win the toss, bat first!

Play all the bench but be ready for snakes and hypocrites with their essays writing off Pakistan and it’s cricket if we lose

Watch Abdullah get massacred after today’s game. T20s are highly unpredictable and measuring the class of someone like Abdullah is diluted as a result. T20 is the worst format to debut youngsters.

I felt the guy should have played at least 1 ODI before if he is actually going to play.

I doubt Shadab plays and would rest him if he's not feeling up for it. Besides series is over now, he can rest and join the team for NZ. I would also rest Hafeez as it's better to play someone inexperienced for a game such as a dead rubber.

Seeing a new wicketkeeper making a debut is always a refreshing sight, would like to see Rohail Nazir play and see what his batting is like. I don't see someone like Usman Qadir doing well against top teams so it might be worth giving Zafar Gohar a shot I think he's quite talented as a left arm spinner.

I don't think we'd be too fussed if youngsters were tried out and one or two didn't come off. But I do agree, there are vultures sat there ready to swoop with their long essays.

Guaranteed if Pakistan lose with an experimental side then posts such as “ Misbah is the worst thing to happen to Pakistan cricket“ will be bumped up again .

Or why don’t the fans admit that we are a mediocre side

In general terms Fakhar's spot has probably opened up now. If he can't score against Zimbabwe then surely he can't be given any more rope in international cricket for the time being, his recent stats are horrific.

It would be great to see Haider given license to thrill as an opener and Abdullah can slot naturally into the middle.

Doubt we'll see any more changes than that tbh. Zafar will continue to wait given Usman's (overrated) performance in the last game.
