Pakistan vs Australia | 3rd ODI | Sharjah | 03/09/12 | Australia Innings

Pathan: "Will the real Kamran Akmal please stand up, please stand up! And he has stood up finally!"

afridi's bowled well especially since he's injured. Good he's showing fight out there.

Sarfraz does not even know how to hold a bat

Both Sarfraz and Kamran have a primary job, and that is to keep wicket.

We have an amazing spin bowling attack. It deserves a competent wicket-keeper to back it up.

:kami will continue to haunt Pakistani cricket for long despite his pathetic performance. True story. :)

moin khan...
he kept mushy and saqi...

Drinks and Australia have hope as Pakistan don't take their opportunities.

The script remains more or less the same .Australia will win this in the end with great contributions from Kami

@BD- You're a smart poster. You see the talent in Vince and Akmal. Why do you support Kamran? Give me one good reason

Afridi is giving runs on the square leg and deep midwicket region. This why he must bowl over the wicket. Bowling around the wicket he is bowling leg stump line and they are easily picking singles.

Sarfraz does not even know how to hold a bat

Sarfraz has a first-class averge of 43 and has scored heavily with the Pakistan A team. Also, Kamran is hardly setting the world alight with his batting. That one missed stumping will cost more than all the runs he has made in this 3 match series.

game is nicely poised, i think the batting power play will be decisive, ajmal will probably come back on then

Bowling power play

2 overs of ajmal
1 over of hafeez
2 overs of rehman (RISK) but need to be taken ..

Kamran should have done better at tgat stumping chance even though it was wide ball. He did'nt judge it properly.

In ODI cricket you need WK who can bat well and Kamran can bat well. He's the only keeper we have who can bat well.

He, like Umar is being mis-used. He's in terrific form but is batting at 8. He has 5 ODI tons to his name. 11 international tons to his name and he's batting at 8. Would NZ send McCullum at 8? Would England send Kieswetter at 8?

U guys call ajmal balls crucial wat if hussy nvr got out and..... Old thing happend. Lmao :D
Ya Allah help us we hav to win thz

I cannot believe we somehow still persist with Kakmal, what an ordinary, ordinary keeper! Who cares what he can do with the bat when he can't keep! Ah, I'm pretty sure there are more of you who are more disgusted than me at seeing him in the team; it's just seriously sad! If he was here for practice for the T20s, this has been a retarded move in hindsight! The single CONSISTENT failure over these last 3 odi's was Kamran Akmal, as a keeper and batsman both. Hopefully this was an exercise to just get him warmed up for the T20s and we will never see him playing ODIs again (or tests which goes without saying)

That's true but today was a golden opportunity to stamp his authority on the game with enough time left. Should open though, I agree

Yes but you have to say he was bowled by a beauty. Angled in and moved away. Unplayable.

The stumping he took was a good one...hes actually capable of very good keeping but unfortunately hes also prone to terrible keeping as he showed with that stumping...

Sarfraz and Salman tbh havent looked like good keepers nor have they looked like good batsmen...better keepers than Kami though...Adnan is the only decent keeper iv seen in recent times for us but he cant bat...

Afridi's bowling consistent pies in this game, retirement looms.

Reverse sweep...

Are they as $@!7 wicket keepers as Kakmal? No one doubts he can bat, and for T20s it makes sense to use him! But in the longer forms of the games, wickets matter more and Kakmal is very consistent at missing chances. Our spinners suffer the most; and for a team who at the time is relying heavily on spinners for the wickets, that's just not very intelligent selection!

The non-review from pakistan is looking more and more crucial now.

Afridi bowling to many full tosses here.
