I agree with the above as we need amad butt and then two only pacers..maybe hasnain instead of Shaheen as shaheen should be rested.

Also defo wouldnt have Hafeez in Malik in there so he can bowl too if needed.

Yes this pretty much will be the xi with only questions like Amad or Hasnain, Khushdil or Malik and Hafeez at no 3 or Rizwan.

Bringing in Malik and Hafeez would mean playing them as well otherwise it doesnt make sense bringing in 38-39 year old guys only to sit them on the bench. However, it will obviously be harsh on Khushdil who has only gotten one game as of now for Pak and that is why I though one of Hafeez or Malik would have been enough.

i don't think Pakistan should think much about this match. It's bangladesh. There will be upsets here and there but overall, pakistan will beat bangladesh 9/10 times comfortably.

Looking at some training videos and it seems like Haris Hasnain and Shaheen will play to provide express pace. Imad and Shadab To be the spinners, Rizwan as WK Babar, Malik and Hafeez the seasoned bats along with Ahsan and chacha ifti to complete the XI.

Sounds like a winning strategy. Batting a bit weak with Malik and Rizwan though. And Imad is a darter.

starting from the end, both hafeez and malik don't like to bat at 3 though hafeez in the past bat at 3; if both playing in the match then surely rizwan is going to bat at 3. Malik with his recent scores and future option is not too good so wish to play with khushdil who can bat at 4 or 5. Depending on the wicket, in Lahore we lost against SL and on all 3 occasions our batting flopped, Ammad can provide extra hitting ability in the team.

Actually, it is not too bad a team. I understand why Wahab and Amir were rested (though they should have been talked to about it) as gives you a slot to try Hasnain / Musa. As is, I would agree with your team, though I hope that Hafeez will bat lower down. I am ok with Malik at 4, Ifti at 5, Hafeez/Khusdil at 6.

Not happy with omission of Imam ul Haq from the squad. It is unfair. And was hoping for Umar Amin and Shinwari to come in. Don’t need both Musa and Hasnain as both are spray guns.

It's a day fixture, which takes out dew factor - whichever side wins toss, I am sure will bat first here. PAK - because they can't bank on batting for chasing anything while BD won't like to allow PAK batting to set a target and bowlers to defend it.

A D/N fixture could have offered more versatility in terms of toss here. I am surprised that we haven't picked any SLAO spinner (probably first time in history), specially considering PAK's struggle against SLAO spinners.

But, Aminul doesn't have the control, he'll give couple of long hops here and there. A SLAO spinner like Sunny (Arafat), could have been really handy here on dry conditions, but probably they are not sure about his actions - he hasn't played for BD since being called for chucking and after clearing the "re-modeled" action, he has been among wickets.

Have no idea about the BANGLADESH players how they'll perform but if they are able to take out Shoaib Malik and Hafeez, its going to get relatively easy for them. the average T20 strike rate of Pak batsmen is around 116, it is a terrible team but Bangladesh has failed before to capitalize on Pakistan's weaknesses.

If Afghanistan was playing Pakistan it would've been extremely tough for Misbah's XI to even come close.

Thanx to the mafia in PCB and Misbah, this is great opportunity for Bangladesh to win overseas T20 series.

Heard he is good with new ball, but not sure. Max speed I have seen is 141.7K, but he is probably around 134K pacer; 6/6'1" and bowls well with new ball; but he bowls very good length for hitting through the line - unless he picks wickets with new ball, might go for plenty. I don't think he is best suited for T20, rather they should have gone for Ebadat or Mehedi Rana, but wish him good luck.
