Has Sky not renewed Pakistan all home series matches be it Test, ODI’s or T20’s?

TNT Sports have agreed a lucrative tv deal with BCCI for several ywars to show all India’s Home matches which include T20, Test Series & ODI’s

Why can PCB not agree a similar deal with Sky Sports, TNT sports similar 2 years deal!? Or any of Asian channels like ARY etc

Please share official link confirming which channel will screen the test series this Sun 12th Oct
 
Broadcast details announced for Pakistan v South Africa series

South Africa’s former Test captain Shaun Pollock will return to Pakistan to call action for the two Test-match series between Pakistan and South Africa commencing from 12 October. The second Test will take place at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from 20 to 24 October.

Pollock, who visited Pakistan in 1997 and 2003 and featured in five Tests here, will be joined by former Pakistan Test captains Aamir Sohail, Ramiz Raja, Waqar Younis and former Test cricketer Bazid Khan.

The Test series, also part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27 will also see PCB’s PitchSide Studio, hosted by presenter Zainab Abbas, providing viewers expert analysis during pre- and post-match shows.

For the three-match T20I series to be played in Rawalpindi and Lahore, followed by three ODIs to be staged at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad, Aamir Sohail and Ramiz Raja will be joined by former Pakistan women’s team captain Urooj Mumtaz. From South Africa, it will be JP Duminy and Vernon Philander for the white-ball series set to take place from 28 October to 8 November.

Zainab Abbas will continue to work as presenter during the white-ball series.

Meanwhile, the High-Definition broadcast coverage will include 28 cameras, which along with buggy cam, will enhance the viewing experience of the fans within and outside Pakistan. HawkEye and UltraEdge will be part of the Decision Review System (DRS) Technology.

Cricket fans in Pakistan will be able to witness the action of the series in high-definition on A Sports and Ten Sports; while livestreaming for viewers in Pakistan will be available on Tapmad and Tamasha.

Viewers around the world can watch the action live on Willow TV (North America), Super Sport (sub-Saharan Africa), Dialog TV (Sri Lanka), TSports (Bangladesh)and Cricbuzz (Middle-East and North Africa).

I guess its youtube in aus.this a consecutive second or third series in pak not getting broadcasted.pcb should do something otherwise its an affirmation of minnow status.

It is not an attractive series.

Even I will be boycotting if spinners takes new ball. How can we expect TV rights to pay for it?

Not a bad idea,especially if you keeping building a library of old matches too. But I am skeptical of their streaming quality. If it lags and can't handle the user load then there's no point.
 
Only Pollock from RSA for tests. Should have at least had Mike Haysman or Pommie Mbangwa or some one else foreign in the mix.
 
Can ARY digitsl still scoop the rights to test series between Pak vs SS last minute along with this new OTT streaming service PCB has agreed to
 
I think this will become a white elephant. Any user paying 40 pounds for subscription in UK will expect atleast 2 good series against the good teams with full strength. If sena teams sent their b/c/d eleven, its risky for pcb.pak team have to improve their performance for the user subscription to be profitable.i guess its same for aus broadcast rights too.
 
Unfair for Pakistan to have 4 commentators representing them wheras South Africa only have Shaun Pollock. Should have tried to rope in the likes of Mbangwa, Cullinan or Philander to balance things out.
 
The reality of bilateral cricket, and Test cricket in particular. Expect more of this going forward with broadcasters paying less and less for Test cricket.
 
How can I watch it in my smart tv with this app?
Not keen on watching it on my phone.

Ridiculous & scandalous no uk channels are screening the 2 match series considering SA are current WTC 2025! Shame on ARY Digital
Why has PTV channel on sky platform been removed
 
Surely the youtube channel in UK always show pak home matches but i have a feeling with this new subscription that might not happen

They should try to emulate tapmad. tapmad has the best streaming quality I have seen of any sports OTT platform in Pakistan. The subscription fee is minimal and I have never suffered any kind of lagging while watching matches on their platform. Image quality stays at 1080p too.

I'm surprised they didn't bring Haysman. He is generally on call for most Pakistan home series.

Sounds like an awful idea in that case. People want to watch content on there big screens . Therefore a subscription based app should be available on all devices. Like for eg the dazn for boxing.

Generally in situations like this the organization tries to feature their product on other more established streaming platforms, so the user has better accessibility. But this is PCB and Pakistan cricket we are talking about; the former of whom is an incredibly incompetent organization, and the latter of which is not a particularly attractive product to begin with.

I reckon that still be the case with Sports Central. PCB are not charging the UK viewers so doubt they will be to bothered if it sill ends up streaming on You Tube. I hope it is...no fun watching it on a PC monitor.

Exactly they did before but now the app is here for making money i doubt they would
 
Just signed up — first two days are free so I’ll see what the quality is like.
Should be able to mirror it onto a smart TV easily enough (hopefully they have not put in measures to prevent this like Sky have done with Sky Go).
Realistically no sports channel here in the U.K. (Sky, TNT) was going to bid for this (or indeed any other Pakistan Test series except vs England) so this seems to be a reasonable approach and the yearly cost is negligible

Ahh just released they are charging for it. You guys are right then, it wont be free on You Tube anymore. That sucks as it will be on a small screen.
 
Now in these situations, beauty of iptv will pop up 😀. I will watch whatever the pak channel or supersports channel.

PCB is struggling to find a broadcaster in UK which has substantial Pakistani diaspora who have reasonable income. Do you really think they will get a broadcasters in india, especially when there is a home series going on and a blockbuster India/Aus is about to follow?

A site named Fancode used to live stream Pakistan match in India at ridiculously cheap prices. I'm surprised they missed out on this one.​

They used to hide the links deep, they were reluctantly showing pakistan matches before.

I don't think any broadcaster/app will be willing to show pakistan matches
 
Excellent quality on the OTT platform, no ads. Pricing is very reasonable.
 
ARY Digital have acquired the rights to coverage in the UK which will be available live from tomorrow morning. A day late but nonetheless it’s positive news.

That will defeat the purpose of the PCB OTT initiative in England. What is the point of the OTT platform if ARY will aire the series live in the UK? The PCB should have only launched the OTT if they were sure no one else will broadcast the series live in the UK. Why would someone pay 6 pounds a month or 40 pounds a year if they can watch it for free on ARY?

It's good news that ARY are going to show it and I'd imagine the OTT platform launch wasn't as successful as they hoped which is why they gladly sold the rights as soon as they found a buyer.

They are perhaps aiming for the casual market, i.e students, people on the go, who now consume cricket via their phones, rather than traditional viewer who is going to watch all 5 days at home and has TV and satellite dish.


But the downside is that that casual market is usually tech savvy and will be able to find ways to stream for free too.

Are you able to cast it to your big screen?

On mine it doesn't cast on any ot them, it just brings a green screen with the PCB logo saying 'ready to cast' that's it.

Must say the player they're using to stream it isn't very good then if you're not able to cast it to your tv's.

They're not showing it only the PCB streaming it online for the UK viewers

I’m assuming they are . They showed the first test from day 2 onwards .
 
Sky epg should.be updated by now really poor from Sky again never accurately update when it comes o Asian channel!s tv programmes

Pcb streaming is really poo adequate quality his will only work once pcb launches a proper app
 
It was fantastic coverage. Great quality. I was pleasantly surprised.

I didn’t try casting, but if you have a smart TV with a web browser, watch it on the browser, no problems for me whatsoever.
 
PCB have done quite well here.

Hopefully they show domestic games too and warm ups etc.

PCB should do what Willow TV have done. Make a deal with Amazon Prime. Now Prime members get Willow included. So more people get to watch.

Same can be done in the UK.
 
Checked ARY Digital channel on Sky 748, but no effin live 2nd test coverage at all this morning!?!

Such a joke amateurish behaviour from ARY Digital - FFS ARY Digital be professional and communicate to customers / avid fans!!

Why show 1st test from Day 2 onwards & 2nd test no coverage on 1st day?!?

Sky EPG still showing no live 2nd test match coverage tomorrow and rest of this week as it stands when sending this message now

its the asian channels not sky who don’t send to sky updated listings. asian channels very poor.

It does.

They now have their app up and running too. I have installed it on my phone and on the TVs in the house so that I can pick up and watch it anywhere. The good thing is that no matter where you are watching from it resumes from last...you don't have to start again.

Can either watch live or wait 24 hours for the full replay (which is what i do because then I can watch at my leisure). Brilliant if you're like me and enjoy watching a full game but can't watch it in one go because of work etc.
