Guys i want to u ask u one question?

I m listening to commentary and sarfaraz is giving instructions to fielders how to field as well like when silva dabbed the ball to third man he is shouting only one and after than he is telling the fielder dive mar de.


I find it very strange to hear that. Normally keeers say only one to prevent the second but sarfaraz is telling what to do also
 
Sri lanka players are super aggressive. They play so many shots and if u control the runs they will get out to silly shots.

Silva is an exception for that
 
Dimuth must have an outstanding record vs Pakistan always seems to score against us.

he is a quality test player. scored heavily against india and bangladesh as well. technically sound with good temperament.

sri lanka's batting has potential but it is the bowling that has become minnow level
 
If only you could swap Shan Masood's batting and bowling stats around.
 
Great first session on a flat wicket. Sri Lanka don't have a long lineup either.
 
Well done Yasir, that's a good session for Pakistan.

Asked to field fiirst but have taken three wickets including Kusal Mendis who's one of their best batsmen.
 
For pace bowlers pitch is flat but for spinners there is some assistance.

Outfield is very slow as well.
 
very poor keeping from sarfraz, that was easiest of the catches and he almost messed it up.
 
Cant watch the match, but is the pitch assisting the spinners more than seamers? Seems like a bad decision to go with 3 seamers if that is the case.

SL are playing 3 spinners.

Yasir starting the series well here, bowling with control and not giving the Sri Lankan batsmen any freebies.
 
I dont see the point of playing 3 fast bowlers. I was hoping that Asghar might get a chance. Part timers can never build pressure
 
Even Asad Shafiq getting a bit of spin. Why on earth have we picked 3 seamers in Abu Dhabi ?

Team management got deceived by the grass on the pitch. Its there to hold the pitch together but nothing terrifying for the batsmen. It was never going to do much for the seamers in the blazing sunshine in the desert.

Its a dry surface that'll break up as the match progresses so you have to go with a second spinner.
 
Haris, Asad and Shan have bowled. Why? No need to introduce them this early in the game. Shows so much impatience. Sarfraz should use his main wicket takers especially at the end of the session when the batsmen are most vulnerable. Using Shan and Asad at the death is literally giving them a free pass to lunch and tea.
 
who would have imagined this scoreline after 2 sessions,Sri Lanka so far has been excellent and look set to score 250, I think even they did not expect to score anything close to this in the entire series, superb inning by the opener, without Mathews everyone expected them to be bundled out under 150 against Amir and co!!

Bad selection from Sarfraz. Cant play in UAE with 1 spinner. He should have known better despite having played so many games in Abu Dhabi. Dubai wicket generally has more in it for pacers but Abu Dhabi has always been spin friendly. What was he thinking??
 
Not a good call by Sarfraz and Micky Authur to play three fast bowlers.
 
This talk of Wahab is baffling. It doesn't even sound like they are describing the same bowler.

Shan Masood is selected again despite averaging 23

I hope he fails so he doesn't get more games
 
As always Mohammad Amir goes wicketless :))) I think he is only effective on a green top or when there is Rohit Sharma batting, otherwise he's a complete liability with everything else
 
The way Yaser is spinning the ball from around the wicket. I feel Sandakan will be a big threat given the element of surprise with a chinaman
 
28 overs out of 74 by Yasir on Day 1 and they didn't go for Asghar; udhar Mushi has put SAF in and they are 147/0 so far - not sure which one is the dumber decision today.

Test is UAE is the worst advertisement for the game. 180/4 in 78 overs & one of those 4 was run out. At this rate day should end for 200 runs in 90 overs😩

ODI is actually even more boring on those dead slow & low wickets, but as it has a definitive result, people can't realize what a disgust of good taste is cricket in UAE.


PAK still should win it because of SRL's recent generation, but a Test shouldn't end in 10 days on such wicket if batsmen had the pre T20 era temperament. I don't see how a bowling unit can take 10 wickets in 3 days here if batsmen are ready to graft at 2.00 rate. Even tail can use bat & pad to block a full day.
