Pakistan new players batting here are no better than ones sitting back home, they have a big mental block.

PCB should do something seriously about standard of batting in Pakistan , may be get International or county batting coaches at U/ 19 and Academy

This is his second test. Have some patience. He has already started improving in ODIs. And he has been really good in T20s from the beginning.

His technique is god awful, he won't survive against any quality bowling.

You're bound to get lucky, there's a reason why he averages low 30s. He'll fluke a few big innings here and there where everything goes his way but he doesn't have the technique to keep the good balls out and score consistently.

Wow Chisti wake the hell up thats Hafeez not Manzoor. Guy is an atrocious commentator, God damn i hate his voice.

Don't rate him either his footwork is very dodgy. Pakistan have to do better if they want to qualify for 2017.

He is only 22. He will improve on that average with given time. A lot of greats didnt have good start to their careers. I am not saying that he is going to be one, but we need to give him consistent chances to establish his feet.
 
Hafeez should at least knock over single's just to get the SL bowler's thinking and to keep the score moving
 
Any other team would have been scoring at 4+ RPO against this tallu attack. Why is our top order so lacking?

Yes ball is seaming even after 20 overs.

I would actually say these two have done a good job. They have shown application and determination to survive on this pitch ball is moving a lot.

Last two matches here Pak lost 9 and 7 wickets against Eng and SA, so much better results compared to that.

Its funny actually many posters here claim that they love test cricket and how its the real and ultimate format yet don't watch the matches. First test thread was dead as well.

Thats hypocrisy to me.
 
There has been no crowds in these games. How is PCB making any money out of this home series. It was so encouraging to see packed stadiums during ashes in Australia.

These guys are batting well. This is a time to bat slow, with the ball moving around. I think if Pakistan can scrape to 300..then Junaid can hit them hard early on and potentially limit them.

People have jobs, studies and families I don't think it is nessecary to post in this thread for everyone who like and follow test cricket.
