Shezzy's adrenaline got the better of him ... there was no need for aerial shots right now as SL is giving easy 1s ... Just should've looked to pick up 4-5/over and punish the real bad balls. But I liked his approach, showed that he has the ability to go at a brisk pace when needed. He'll learn as he plays more.

Positively surprised overall by our intent to chase. Hopefully they look to go for the win.

Misbah and YK should demote themselves, should let others play aggressively, if we are in trouble, misbah and YK should put the shutters down

Easy singles on offer by Lanka. Mathew is gone on backfoot from first over

People are underestimating Misbah here he can go big if the ball is in his zone.

Take Advantage of Easy Singles till 30 Over,s

dont Play shot Like Shahzad played

Lol anyone catch that camera fail?

Cameraman was following nothing into the crowd :))

Cut him some slack mate. For four and a half days there was nothing going into the air and all of a sudden Pak batsman come out all guns blazzing this was bound to happen

I am interested in Sri Lankan fans views on Mathews tactics :13:

Misbah should get Khurram in the ODI team, he has impressive List A average and he's showing here that he can play at a good SR.

Just as I type this, Manzoor gone. :(

whats the point of shutting up shop? still a series defeat, have some guts.

we should really be chasing 150 because of crap umpiring we are chasing 300 and players walking off

I think it is asking too much now..

Cant expect them to go for the kill now, unless misbah had some Charas in the lunch break :p

Pak shouldn't shut shop till misbah,yk and azhar are at the crease, after that they can do the shutting up shop job with asad and sarfraz.

50 runs under 10 overs. Now how often do we see that in ODIs when Pak are batting

Only azhar Ali looks good in young Pakistani batsmen. Kurram manzoor looks hopeless to be honest.

singles and doubles still on offer

I agree, that they should keep on trying even if they lose the match, but i think it is just not possible to keep going at 5 RPO with all the negative tactics available to lanka

Pakistan don't have the batsmen to chase this down.

I think if these 2 get going they can keep the RR up. YK is very good when its about rotation of strike.

Azhar needed this release tbh. Mb this would change his game and he would transgress into a good test player for Pak

Especially against left-arm spin bowlers such as Rangana Herath. I can only hope he decides to play some attacking aerial strokes Herath as he did against Monty Panesar.

Just disappointed though that I can't watch the match today even though my sixth-form has been cancelled today - Zee Cinema is refusing to work.

Did Ramiz just call Pakistan one of the best bowling attacks at least on paper if not in practice?

Pakistan may miss Hafeez in this match

Hafeez is Clean hitter like Misbah

and was in Good Hitting from

Come on keep rotating the strike just put the bad balls towards the boundary.

These two need to bat around 4-5 an over and leave 70-80 in the last 10 for Misbah and Sarfraz.

YK saying to Azhar: mene pohnchna haina wahan per tu fiker na ker :))

Why not tap it to the middle of nowhere and push for 2?..

Everyone is on the boundary

I wud happily accept 2-0 loss (in case we lost) while going for the win rather than 1-0 defeat while going for a draw :(

Azhar and younis batting with S/R of 47 and 45 respectively they have officially shut the shop

Believe it or not Hafeez would be far more useful at #3 right now then Azhar lol

Shop is only accepting privileged customers right. I think it's not closed yet

I am loving this aggression from Pakistan. They should keep going unless they get in danger of losing too many wickets.
