where is the spirit of cricket why aren't these lankans walking

disgusting behaviour

please hafeez walk out this math and demand for other umpires please

We should honestly walk off the field.

Kick the stumps down too Hafeez, for good measure

And if the ICC Match Referee fines ANYONE in this game from Pakistan, we should just pull out of rest of series till hawk-eye and hot spot are brought into Sri Lanka for 2nd test

Misbah smiles in the dressing room, he's gone past the stage of disappointment

39.1

Saeed Ajmal to HAPW Jayawardene, no run, huge shout, for caught behind, turned down, Adnan grabbed the ball and ran in front of the stumps, absolutely convinced, shouting, he is devastated as umpire Gould remains unmoved, and the error counter logs in one more, tossed up slow offbreak, turns in, takes inside edge onto pad flap and into the keeper's gloves

Misbah still laughing at the umpiring, I bet 100% that's why he just said "tauba".

On a serious note, anyone else think this little stint actually increased Pakistan's chances? They need to make 510 to win, they'd have lost had they made 510 following on

Oh well guys, thanks for you commentary and some laughter and crying on my behalf :))

well....

have to go for the total. what else

too long to survive for a draw

have to go for the runs. But given that SL are playing with 13 players not much chance..

given that how we have been robbed a win would be a slap on the faces of these buffoons

Yes it's increased Pak's chances of a win.

Before it was 0.5%.
Now it's 1%.

Point is, it's irrelevant.

just need to go all guns blazing now, no point these batsmen scratching and farting around the crease like scared ballerinas

we gonna win taufeeq bradman umar to make 310 n.o at a strike rate of 85.5 and Mohammad haydos hafeez to hammer 200 n.o strike rate 145

i didnt get what he meant, what does he mean we would of lost if we had 510 follow on?
He's saying if we followed on, and made 510, then SL would have chased 137 easily.

But in this case, we have a miniscule higher chance of winning, because SL can't bat again.

Say we made 550 - SL's target would have been 177, and if they were 137/5 (as they are now), they have a good chance of winning.

Atleast I think thats what he's talking about

Partnerships key in this chase.

100 partnership here and there will do well

you have to be optimistic yaaar
Optimism and realism are completely different things. Pakistan can still win - but with 100 run partnerships, not a Hafeez 200 at a S/R of 145.

Cmon now, plenty of time to go

Just be positive and see where that takes you.

A tentative Pakistan is a Tiger caged.

But Pak would still have the second innings left to play even after Sri Lanka chased our 550, we would still have the second innings to take over there second innings score.

I meant if we made 550 in our 2nd innings (aka this innings going on now), and Sri Lanka had enforced follow on

To the people who are saying we are going to win this, you're forgetting that Sri Lanka has the legendary bowlers Ian Gould and Davies on their side, no way we are going to survive against their ferocious howlers.

The duo of Gould and Davies restricted us to 100 in the first innings, no way they're going to let us get to 500 :/
