Are they going to use the same pitch? It will be truly iconic if they decide to go with this strip for the next match as well.

There needs to be some balance. These pitches are awful. I am all up for spinning pitches if that helps us to win, but can't have the ball turning square from ball 1.

I always criticised India for moondust wickets and Pakistan deserve the same criticism. Whilst or spinners will now look like prime Jim laker and murali, their has to be some balance

Our already struggling batsmen aren't going to develop and pretty much playing seamers has become pointless.

I don't want to be playing on roads either. We play SL and NZ at home in next cycle and this rank Turner policy will back fire t somepoint as spinners can't keep bailing out our substandard batsmen.

We have no one even competent enough to play spin like misbah, YK use to play spin. I won't be shocked if Pakistan lose to SL or NZ playing this way.

When players like babar look like village cricketers again left arm spinners

I would like to see Kashif Ali get a go, to really see what he’s made of.

Now his domestic record isn’t very complimentary of him, but he’s in the squad, so let’s have a look.

Play on the same pitch , it will be fun , trust me fun all the way . Another 3 day Test.
Play on same pitch and game will be done 2 days. The fact that both set of batsmen looked clueless in 1st test will only roll over into this one.

If WI win toss and bat 1st on a similar surface we could see a different result

Home advantage is perfectly fine. But against an opposition like West Indies do they actually need it? Are they afraid of losing to them on a flat track? Windies is not exactly a good side on flat wickets either.

"exciting" what's exciting about this ridiculous test series in front of an empty stadium . Pakistan is winning but killing the test cricket. What is there to watch for cricket followers in this. Just watch BGT, that's test cricket, not this .

Make sure Khurram is in playing 11 again, he needs some well deserved rest after playing " grueling " 2 test series in SA.

Do you have a clip of him? I m confused about this Kashif ali.

Before doing anything else, turn on the fans. :yk

I am guessing it's going to be a similar pitch to the 1st Test, but there's a clear gap between the teams anyway. An interesting question is should they add another batsman over Khurram?

Let's see what kind of wicket is served after that one can deduce , otherwise not much difference between two teams

Not much difference means that some players from Pakistan are better than their counterparts, same goes for WI.

If that's makes your superego happy than WI keeper is as good as Rizwan 🍫

Hopefully Shan is lucky and calls it right whether heads or tails, otherwise in for a bumpy ride.
For playing XI leave Babar out and play Imam

I don't get where PAK fans get off with this kind of attitude thinking they are world-beaters. Need I remind you that we went three years without winning a test match at home?

Spin-friendly pitches are in the nature and ecology of this part of the world. The weather and conditions here are conducive to these types of pitches. Not only that, its a competitive advantage Asian teams have over SENA teams who generally have better and more well-rounded pace attacks. Going against that is going against nature. Pakistani fans need to come back to reality. First you need to learn how to start winning at home before you can even think about winning in SENA. You have to become a good test team first. Keep your delusions to yourself. The reality is that even if these pitches somehow were pace-friendly, Pakistan would get killed. Because Pakistan's test pace-attack is one of the worst they have ever had in their history.

I would rather take winning at home over not winning at all.

I do not think if WI win toss they can win the game.

pakistan despite struggling , I feel at least couple of batters will get some good score and that will make the difference.

The real cricket is Test cricket and good that Pakistan is winning games , though batsmen need to step up shall we bowl first

Watching some post match comments from Shan, he seems keen to have Amir Jamal back in the side even though he was not named in the squad. I think he will replace Khurram in the only change for the second test.

Or maybe he'll bowl an over in the entire match like Khurram did in the first test.
Yeah. LOL

I don't think any change is needed... Hurraira needs some games before we can judge him. Shan is pathetic as a batter and his captaincy was saved by Sajid and Noman so he is gonna stay as well, babar is gonna stay as well.

We can try ROhail though.. Not gonna happen IMO.

SO UNCHANGED IT IS GONNA BE
