One word - Pathetic !!!

They were 42/2 in 8 overs and 42/2 after 10 overs.

I have never seen a batting line up as poor as Pakistan when it comes to strike rotation.

3 Maidens in a row !!!

When was the last time such thing happened in a International Limited Overs game ??

Hafeez has to GO!Evident in his attitude!Well experienced but batting worse than Babar crumbling under pressure!cant rotate the strike...utter waste of space for him..Fahim Ashraff should replace him..Shoaib Malik should bat at 4!

They scored a solitary run off the bat in 4 overs !!!

1 bloody run in 4 overs !!!

This is beyond pathetic !!!!

Totally 2 runs in 4 overs with one of them being an extra

Hafeez
And especially Hafeez along with a few others puff out their chest when they block a ball and seem to think a block = 6

Someone needs to send these mentally weak individuals to a sport psychologist

It's as if there are 30 players stopping the ball on field :yk

Can't buy a single to save their lives.

The professor is impossible to drop because he can bowl to an decent standard and therefore he is "blessed in all 3 facets of the game" :hafeez2

Awful batting but we are chasing a low score. Rotating the strike is more important than boundaries.

Both of the current batsmen are sucking the life out of the Pakistani innings.

It makes no logical sense to play so slow and then potentially gifting your wicket and leaving the team in a hole.

No logic whatsoever.

Wow...I cannot fathom how this utterly crap batting can be the standard in this new modern age of cricket.

Hafeez really is poor at punishing loose deliveries. Thing is he's the kind of player that wastes so many deliveries then he scores a 50 and everything is fine in the Pakistan camp.

Anyone notice that even Babar, dubbed the best batsmen in the team, is playing at such a horrible SR.. We know Azhar is slow, we know Hafeez is slow, but BABAR?? I have no hope for this batting lineup (except for Fakhar).

Same problem, Same issue, new thread everyday

14 overs 34 runs is pathetic even in anlow scoring chase.

Remember they are more than minus 3 in NRR.

Look at who young Babar has as an example in the dressing room. Dot ball moguls everywhere. It's no excuse but if your struggling for form what incentive do you have to work for singles when your seniors are settling a fine example?

One thing I want to add is that it DOESN'T matter if we win from here or both of these guys go on to score big.

The SR and rotating the strike is still a problem. Just because it worked out here doesn't mean it's okay.

If any of these guys got out after consuming so many deliveries that would put enormous pressure on those to come (as in the case of Inda vs Pakistan on June 4th and countless other matches). The current batting approach remains one-dimensional and will fail more times than not.

Everyone should learn from Fakhar Zaman. The way he rotated the strike, was just amazing to watch.

Shoaib Malik firing up.. a senior Babar and Fakhar should look up to.

The team has made huge strides in reducing dot balls under Mickey's tenure.

With that in mind, he must be very disappointed with today's start. Yes, conditions aren't easy but against Zimbabwe of all teams, the batsmen should be at least rotating the strike. Imam has been the main culprit.

I suspect Mickey will be having words...
