Personally I think these comments by Gavaskar are highly defamatory and he should be taken to court for them by the Pakistan government. Unless he has valid proof that money paid to Pakistani cricketers is used for the indirect killing of Indian soldiers, he should either apologise for his comments or provide that proof.

I would register this case in the UK against him because this statement has arrived after a Pakistani player was picked to play in the Hundred.

The league is British. Civilized western countries have non discriminatory labor practices. If for a league to thrive, it takes talent from the world over on merit, their guidance to the franchises will be to do it, regardless of nationality, creed, race, etc. The franchise owners might be Indian, but they are still operating within the confines of a foreign country where certain labor laws are applicable.

If Sunil or other indians feel this will be detrimental to the safety of Indians, maybe they should not even be operating in such a league so as to avoid hiring Pakistanis. Just stick to IPL and India based ventures where you can apply such disrciminatory practices.

An Indian cannot start a business venture in foreign lands and try to enforce their own laws there. Rather simple concept.
