i understand most of it... its hard when reading, listening sounds fine... lived in Lahore for 2 years thori bohat to samajh aa hi jati hai...

not really..they are doing different things..(or atleast thats what they give the impression of) ...but theres always a chance for them lot to get back together (which i think is highly unlikely. but never say never if strings can come back after so many years then dont see why cant junoon.

can any1 pls translate this song (mukh gaye nay - by junoon) in english...i love this song but dont understand most of it.... please ...any1...

true, but strings i believe was a little different. they left aside music for studies or some other commitments i think and had a lot of music left in them, as is evident now. maybe the break helped that cause too. ali azmat released an album and it was ok, nothing great. salman's was pure tosh. wonder what brian's doing?

brian divorced ayesha n i dont think he lives in pak anymore

yes your right..but then again once you depart the scene and do your own thing like strings were doing , more often then not you go in a different direction but strings managed to come back. as far as i know after salmans disasterous album he was working for the U.N .....as for brian what can i say apart from ayesha alam ;) ali azmat was offered a movie by pooja bhatt (apparently shes a big ali azmat fan ;) he turned down the movie though :P i hope they get back together.


and i wasnt nominating you for an interview its your khush + ghalat fehmi bhai :P

mere shareeqan de naal o phiray: they hungout/socialised with my cousins/relatives(?). (i think in those times cousins weren't really close to each other in society).

kutray tarak la kalejay mere: and that hurt me dearly

marnae char ke mein oodhay sire: gonna make life hard for them.. like in urdu we say, tumhare sar par charh kar maron ga

as sana pointed, brian and ayesha are divorced. hes gone back now.

btw, noticed how majority of the new singers sound like noori.

as we are discussing, liklihood of junoon regrouping is pretty bleak. bloody brian has no reason to come back to pakistan now. i am waiting for strings actually.

yeah true.... strings is 2nd best tho. i loved junoon but yeah they prob wont get back now. ali azmat is a dopey, salman has an attitude prob n brian has left pak.

nah..missed that 1 too. my bro went to pink floyds...said it was amazing.

n daira is not a typical pak movie... i think some1 made it privately. its abt this pak guy who refuses to take bribe n loses his job. ayesha aalam is married but has an affair with him. he then starts taking drugs... its very depressing. the scenes ayesha played in this movie were pretty shocking... or may be lolliwood is pretty advance now...i dont know coz i dont watch pak movies myself

pop music future doesn't look very promising in pak.

btw, shehzad roy's saali is great, especially the video.

shezad roy is a gd singer. havent heard 'sali'. 'chand sa mukhra' is his best song, i like 'bhool ja', 'jinna karlo gay pyar', 'jan gayo', 'tere naal', 'tirchi nazar'. --- 'woh jo hum mein' is a nice song but music is not the best.

video for sali is better than the song itself, but both complement each other.

i havent heard 'jan gayo'.

aoaray = its actually oyeee , i think

baajo = means " after him " in this context means " after he was gone "

udeekan = means " intizaar karna "

dori koi vee na katti gayee = dori mean like a string u know Dor to fly kites

katti = means to cut it.

but i dont think thats line is correct he doesnt say that. its more on teh lines of

Mori koi vee na " something" gayee
