Very noble man. Incredibly generosity to feed people free of charge irrespective of man made differences.

Nice to see some positive news of Muslims. Well done to the chap.

Muslims do many good things. Organisations like Islamic relief amongst others contribute to humanity regularly. Thing is when Muslims do good it is often over looked by the biased western media.

Yes I know this. Muslims are Christians are probaby the most giving people in terms of communities.

What is interesting is this man has a resturant accross the White House, the supposed symbol of the 'free world' but can't feed its own people even having so much wealth.

Anybody that's been to DC and New York, does the DC metro area have more Pakistanis than NY/NJ tristate area?

I have been to DC metro area and it is mostly suburbs, didn't get the vibe there were many Pakistanis living there, infact on zabiha I didn't see that many halal restaurants either. I think NY/NJ has the biggest population of Pakistanis in NA followed by toronto maybe? Although things are changing since many people are moving to other states due to cost of living.

Next time I go to DC, I will stop by this place looks decent.

That makes sense although wikipedia says the DMV has the highest concentration but I guess it doesn't have that urban feel like NY or chicago.

I was a little cynical before watching the video. Thought it could be a bit of a publicity stunt, some online campaign that the guy would give out food every Saturday for a month or something. But then the line about the person he had been giving meals to for 4 years... wow!

Very touching, wish him all the best and hope more in this world follow his example!

It’s a very human response to an inhuman crisis. I just hope that some day media personnel have enough sense to respect the dignity of the homeless individuals by maintaining their anonymity in such videos.

I was watching the new Amir Khan documentary which is so gritty, worth a watch for any sports or non sports fan very inspiring and shows the highs and lows in life and how not to give up. They also covered Amir's charity work and visits to Pakistan in particular after the horrific attack in Peshawar when he was there in that same week, I don't think I have ever seen a popular figure of Pak origin help so much on that level, the man has a big heart in and out the ring. Was very emotional watching it all up close what had happened and stuff, the people there were so happy to see him especially in a time like that and it sent out a great message to the world
