Anyone who's been watching the last few ODI series can tell that Pakistan had huge problems, but none more so than the number three position. Endless hacks tested, endless failure and instability.

Now that Hafeez has scored big today finally he's made the position his own and Pakistan finally have a rock solid young batsman to depend on in the position. The litany of failures has come to an end with this discovery.

Lol.

Unfortunately some people will actually think like that and even more unfortunately they are in decision making capacities in the PCB.

Robbed of a deserved century!

The wait for a century from a Number 3 goes on, but with Hafeez its sure to end very soon

Now we're stuck with him till after the champions trophy at the very least

this reminds me of how you baited me back when younis was torturning us :yk2

Good sarcasm but i believe this thread will soon be merged. Have a laugh while it lasts though.

coming to the party when it matters - giving the greens a good chance of qualification now.

legend.

truly blessed in not just three talents, but many more.

I have been screaming for more opportunity for the professor. Give him an opportunity and he will deliver.

Imagine how different our batting would have been had we given him this opportunity a decade ago.

Please don't over hype this young player. Hafeez is very talented but lets not ruin him with the weight of expectations. :P

Donnie has uncanny powers.

He predicted Taskin getting called for "chucking" as a spoof the week before it happened. Of course he's now back bowling with an unchanged action after 6 months of "remodelling"...but I've only pointed that out a few dozen times already, lol.

So don't be surprised if Hafeez is opening or batting at 3 for the 2027 World Cup.

It just happens.

In FIFA on my career mode Jonny Howson refused to play for me so I sold him to Norwich city. Two weeks later in real life Leeds accepted an offer from, you guessed it, Norwich City :))

Sarfraz has taken back to the stone age with his masterstroke of removing Babar Azam from #3

blessed in all facets would be king of duck as soon as he steps in england. worst player in modern cricket.

Well played Donal, well played :trump2

Lots of Pakistani fans are now inured to TTF misery inflicted upon us.

Disgusting stuff.

However, credit to Hafeez for atleast making up for all his tuk tukking in what was initially a hideous knock.

We are stuck with him now and the best we can hope for is him batting at #4 or better yet #6, though he's probably going to stay at #3 now.

He's gonna come, play at a 50 SR till he's at 20, and then get out against any good team, can't believe he's gonna get the spot over Babar.
